I would like to thank all the staff.
Everything about this hotel was perfect. From the moment we entered the entrance, it was paradise. The first person we met was German, who gave us the best time. Our room was right in front of the sea, with the gentle sound of the waves. We woke up to the sunrise in the morning, and fell asleep to the sound of the waves in the silence at night... The food was also great. I would give everything more than one star. The food was delicious, starting from the day we arrived, and the menu was so varied that it was difficult to choose. I was particularly impressed with the food I had on my last night at Amber. I will definitely come back again soon. The staff also provided excellent service and hospitality, and we were given a lot of really nice services, such as bicycles that we could ride freely. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique and could not have asked for a more incredible experience. The resort itself is retreat-like with peaceful zen vibes but the quality and care of the facility provides that luxury resort feel. The staff was attentive, social and truly at your service with no hesitation and always with a smile. We love to eat and appreciate flavorful cuisine and we were not disappointed. We truly enjoyed every meal. There are activities & ceremonies to participate in when looking to keep busy but never pressure to sign up. A resort that provides all that the soul needs to restore - spas, pools, with the sound of the ocean, delicious cuisine & cocktails as well as morning yoga. Paulo was our bartender and we’d like to give him a special thank you. 😊

We loved everything about this resort. We were surprised upon arrival to receive a room upgrade to an oceanfront casita! It was beautiful and we could walk right off of our patio onto the beach. The room was luxurious. We loved the rooftop infinity pool. Our butler, Israel, was very helpful arranging spa appointments and other on-site activities. Pool bartenders, Damian and Gustavo, kept the drinks flowing poolside. We really enjoyed our tequila tasting experience with David. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. The food at the resort was good - like with all restaurants, there were things we liked more and things we liked less, but good overall. We really loved the ceviche that could be ordered poolside. If we could change one thing about the Blue Diamond, we would add a feature to be able to heat the outdoor plunge pool. The water was ok during the day, but too cold for us in the evening. Something to note, the distance is long from the lobby to the beach. There are golf carts and bikes available for transport, but maybe keep in mind when choosing your room.

CONS: Lightbulbs don’t work, multiple request for replacements Mold in shower Butler is no show, does absolutely nothing Daily request for water & drink refills in mini-fridge Daily request for ice Request for coffee refill when it was used Bicycles have flats & no brakes Bathtub/“Cool dip pool” in bathroom room doesn’t work, hot water knob was broken off and cold water was turned off. Bathroom lighting is extremely dim Toilet constantly runs & surrounding wood flooring is rotting Skylight over sink in bathroom has old animal feces on interior wall. Car costs-1000 meters nextdoor to Mayakoba for golf was $65 US dollars. Staff was great and very accommodating and the property is beautiful, however is in very poor condition as lack of funding is apparent. Food is plain bad and should focus on Mexican dishes which were really good. Drinks feel watered down. We spend one night and left to a different hotel.

During the midnight, the bed sheets got soaked, the bathroom was flooded, and there were several leaks so I couldn't sleep. The hotel's response after that was the worst I've ever stayed at, and the manager only came to apologize after we checked out. They said they would email me, but there was no outer care or anything. Please note that the actual hotel's website photo is completely different from the current state. I think the building is old and needs to be restored.
