Muy buen hotel para ir con niños. Es mi 2nda estadía. Tiene el area de niños (club y pisina) integrada con las de adultos y a pasos de la playa. Las habitaciones tienen 2 sillones q se hacen cama por lo q es muy cómodo para la familia. Las habitaciones las mantienen en muy buen estado. La comida es buena y el aseo también. El personal de Restaurant Hacienda es increíble. Agradezco a Moisés, Inocencio y Jorge por su amabilidad. Tambien a Leonardo de sport center q nos llevo en catamaran. Lo malo: La playa del Maya Palace no es muy buena. Tiene rocas y la parte de arena es dura. Hay q caminar a los hoteles del lado para mejor playa. Las distancias son largas. Los restaurantes quedan lejos de pisinas y habitaciones, y no hay snack bar o restaurant para comer en la playa ni pisinas. Solo hay bar para bebidas. El personal de recepción en general no es muy atento. Algunos si pero otros no. Son como robots que responden y de hecho no conocen ni el hotel dado las respuestas que dan. En el check out sugeri q seria bueno poner aire acondicionado al area de comida del restaurante El Coral. Ya que el sector donde se mantiene la comida aunque es cerrado no esta climatizado por lo que es un horno. Hace un calor insoportable y tener comida en esas condiciones no es apropiado. Pero el recepcionista de premiun level no conocía bien el lugar e indico q hacia calor por que era abierto. Lo que es falso ya que lo único abierto son el sector de mesas. El area de comida es cerrado.

Beautiful resort and excellent service! We had the absolute best time during our stay at the palace! This is our second time at this resort because we had such a great experience back in 2022. So much to do right on the property. Hacienda buffet has lots to offer and great service from everyone in the dining room. Also, the service was absolutely amazing at the French Restaurant "Brasserie"... We made the best memories and can’t wait to go back...

The vip premium checkin is horrible. 2 hours wait for staff that were slow as a sloth. I did not like it one bit. I didnt like how difficult they made booking restaurant when they were half empty during dining. We had to go every day to book next day restaurant. There was absolutely no shade from palm trees. I didn’t like it one bit. The only thing that was great every day was the waitresses at restaurants. Very professional and very friendly.

We went in a large group to celebrate my daughters quinceanera and they gave us a battle and did not make accommodations to sit us together or at least close together even with us made reservations ahead of time. The bartenders at the pool kept ignoring us and wouldn't attend to us right away. One of the bathroom doors would not open and the fridge did not work.

Only thing I didn't like is that the internet router has a light that blinks in the middle of the night and is strong enough to light up the whole room and wake you up.

Barcelo Maya Palace. The hotel grounds and all is beautiful, food is good service great staff is also great very friendly. Before I booked my trip I read the reviews and I agree with the other reviews . Here is my imput. 1. Check in takes forever there is only 1 person at check in 2. If you plan on having dinner at one of the fancier restaurants there is only 1 person at the desk so it takes 20 min or more and there is always a line so expect to spend about an hour if there are more people waiting. And for the most part all the restaurants were booked when my family and I were there . 3. We were there for 5 days and on the last day before our departure the people in charge of the pool towels asked us for a card to check out towels. They didn't ask for it any other day why now. We seen multiple people upset. With the same complaints I described. A side from that our trip was awesome

Unfortunately, my daughter got food poisoning during our stay. There were several times that the meals had me running for the bathrooms afterwards as well. Other than that, it is a nice resort with a beautiful pool, good beaches, a clean room, and friendly staff. However, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Rooms were old, no sleepers, no bathrobes, iron didn’t work….. very hard to book restaurants, food and service was poor to say the least. We have been to Mexico many times and thus was extremely disappointed.
