I arrived, the manager was not friendly and told me that I had to pay a large deposit to stay at the hotel since reservation was paid through a third-party vendor. I explain to her that I have never paid that amount there it was always under a certain limit. Plus, a guest arrived at the same time I did, and they did not offer them the same policy as they did me. Very disappointed. As a manager I expected professionalism and friendly customer service. She did not amplify those characteristics and set a bad example on behalf of the hotel. So unethical, passage aggressive and unprofessional. She told me that they were going to cancel my reservation, and she did. I have not received anything refund from anyone at this time. However, I had to reserve another hotel using the third-party vendor and stayed at the Courtyard Marriot in Edison. Me and my grandchildren felt safe at the Courtyard, and we did not have to worry about hostile environment. I rate them a ZERO.
