Great Stay in Mariposa Hotel
This is a little Gem in Málaga! Well located, a few minutes walk to main landmarks and close to good restaurants. Decoration is modern and good aesthetic overall. We booked with Hotels.com and were offered an upgrade to a suite. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast options and a good price for a hotel. Overall, it is great stay in Málaga.

This hotel was great. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. The shower had great water pressure and good temperature control. There was a varied selection of hot & cold choices on the breakfast buffet. The rooftop terrace with bar provides a nice respite from sightseeing and the crowds of Old Town.The hotel location is just a 4-5 minute walk from old town and rooms are quiet. Best of all, the staff are wonderful - friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

I have no idea how the hotel Mariposa has 4 stars. So dated, the bedrooms have an old smelly carpet and old bathrooms. The whole hotels needs updating and renovation badly. The location is fine. Too expensive for what it really is.
