Excellent! Highly recommend
Fantastic vacation spot. The best all inclusive hotel we have stayed at. The food was excellent - not just great for an all inclusive, but actually great. And the service is amazing everywhere. Good beach (not like Turks or Cayman but very nice), nicely designed pools. If you want an adults only resort that is very chill but isn’t all couples (we were parents and a 19 year old) this is an ideal spot.

The hotelrooms are really old. We had so many issues with our room so they got a new one. First night the AC was so cold and could not change the temperature (talking about a temperature around 15 c). Next day the toilet was flooded with water coming from the ceiling. Third day at the new room the AC was not working at all. Food was generally good, breakfast one of the best I ever had. The French restaurant and the lobster house were both excellent. Avoid Flavour market (Spanish), worst paella and undercooked potata bravas and squid. Overall the total impression was not good.

Cannot say enough about this resort. It is over the top CLEAN and everyone from the grounds keeper to the managers are super friendly. It was our anniversary so they even went above to make our stay super special. The pools were super clean. The beach was nice and they had so much seating in the beach area.

The restaurants were wonderful. Food was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well stocked with snacks and drink. I did not like the fact you had to use your phone to read all the menus in the restaurants. It is not conducive to a nice meal having to all get out your phones and pick what to eat. Bring back paper menus or at least laminate ones.

We loved it here! We came for our honeymoon and it was beautiful. The staff was incredibly attentive (even without tips) and the food was top notch. It was very relaxing, pool bar was the best part. It was easy to get food and drinks at any time of day, nighttime entertainment was okay, wish the silent disco was more than one night!

This is a great adults only resort if you are looking for a quiet place. Things that we loved about it anre: our room, we had a two story roof top pool suite, excellent room! The dining options, we loved the Spice hibachi, the French, and the Grill. The beach was sandy and peaceful, lots of seaweed though which is a gift of nature…The Spa and its tranquility, we went twice, the massages were so good and relaxing. The greetings from the staff with a bubbly upon admission was very pleasant. What we didn’t like was: the pool entertainment was only aerobics, and poco loco at the beach, not so many activities going on. We could barely ever find a place at the pool, everything was always occupied. The lazy river had some spots available but no activities there, very quite place. Overall, good resort for couples. Loved the cleanliness and the staff attentiveness to needs. Thanks for having us for our annual anniversary!

Honeymoon!
We had a wonderful time at this resort. Staff was great and accommodated our needs well. We did have an issue with a leak in the ceiling but we were able to move rooms with no problems. They were very nice about the issue we had. My ONLY complaint would be resteraunt wait times were kinda long on days where only a few resteraunts were open. Not a huge deal just have to plan accordingly. All pools were cleaned daily by staff members.

Property was beautiful and staff was wonderful. The only issue we had was easy to plan for if properly disclosed. Tank tops are essentially not permitted in the restaurants. Unfortunately, my husband had brought several. Knowing this, we will simply bring more t-shirts for him next time.

The three of us left the resort today after a five-night stay. We had two neighboring swim-out rooms. This place is amazing! The friendliness of the staff was remarkable. The entertainment staff, including Angelo (the best!) and Eliseo, were outstanding. There are tons of food options and drinks options. The beach is beautiful, the pools are outstanding, and the lazy river was the best! This resort holds a lot of people but never once felt crowded. There is lots of room for everyone. We took a personal taxi to Puerto Morales for $50 roundtrip. We felt completely safe the entire trip, including Puerto Morales. I highly recommend the Excellence Riviera Cancun. I would love to come back here again.
