Upon checking in the language barrier was very evident, however the receptionist was very pleasant. We were on the 5th floor with no working lift and heavy bags. This was less than ideal and we were not offered a room closer to the ground floor, we were just expected to walk up many flights of stairs with heavy bags.
It was very cold and upon turning the electric radiators on and aircon, the room filled with an overpowering smell of plburnjng dust, which triggered my asthma which meant no sleep for me, just fighting for breath all night. There was a screaming baby next door and this aided our discovery on how incredibly thin the walls are.
Honestly it was not worth the money we paid for the night, but the staff were nice people and location very convenient, also no onsite parking, instead a tiny pay and display public car park which took over an hour to get a parking spot in. Not suitable for disabled, or people who cant walk very well, particulary in winter months when its daro so early and can be icy underfoot.
