Loud, festive, little service
Not a service hotel. We stayed on two different occasions with very similar experiences. Menus on chaise loungers at pool but no one ever comes around to take an order. In the morning, the chaise side tables are dirty with hair and cocktail residue while you’re trying to enjoy your morning coffee. Don’t expect an early check-in. The rooms overlooking the pool are great but very loud on Friday/Saturday nights. Consider a room off the pool for more privacy/quiet. The music on the property never changes from club music (even in the morning). How about a little Billie Holliday vibe once in a while? Overall hotel has a McMennamin’s vibe which we like. Good cocktails in the Mexican restaurant.

A luxurious experience!
Super cute and fun. Great adult entertainment (bars, nightclub, music) and excellent food on the grounds. Right in the middle of downtown San Diego (about 2 miles from Balboa Park and the Zoo). The shower and the bed are max comfort!

Great Getaway to Cut Loose!
The photos do not do this place justice! WOW!!!!!!! Don’t recommend though if you don’t like people as this place is crazy busy with people just there for the restaurants, bars, etc. Came for a girls overnight trip with my besties to cut loose and it was exactly what we needed! Not for the folks looking for peace and relaxation though. Will most definitely come back!

What an incredible hotel!
What a beautiful hotel! From the lobby, to the eating areas, to the pool, to the rooms, every detail was thoughtful and meticulous. You really feel like you have been transported! I was there over the weekend, and it got quite lively, but it wasnt so noisy that it kept be awake or bothered me, but if you are a light sleeper, that is something to think about. The beds and sheets were sooo comfortable though. I just about melted into them once I laid my head on the pillow. It was also amazing to have all of those food options availiable right at the hotel. It really did check all of the boxes, and i would definitely stay here again!

El mejor lugar al que he ido por ahora.
El hotel es un hotel que tiene todo para ofrecer, hasta en el mas minimo detalle esta pensado. Solo la orientacion del personal no es la mejor, ya que nadie nos sabia decir como reservar en los bares y restaurantes del hotel, ademas que esta todo lleno y le dan prioridad a las reservas externas que a los mismos huespedes. Y el lugar del concierge para el check in no es el mejor ya que la misma persona atiende el cafe, creo que ahi es mejor ubicarlo en la entrada donde esta el area del DJ. De ahi en mas: La alberca esta en temperatura perfecta para el clima, la decoracion esta increible, todos los lugares son de pelicula, los tragos, la cocteleria, la comida todo esta delicioso, personalizan productos con tu nombre al recibirte en la habitacion, las camas son deliciosas. Todo lo demas esta 10/10.

An Artist’s Dream
Incredible stay for a fun or romantic weekend. We celebrated our anniversary here as a staycation (we live in Orange County) and I could not stop obsessing over every detail of this property. The room, the multiple bars, the entertainment (comedy club and bowling!), the food, the pool… all 10/10. Every corner is picturesque. But most impressive is the fact that the quality goes beyond the photos. Diner food was *chefs kiss*, cocktails were perfect, morning iced latte from the lobby was delicious, and I’m still thinking about the chicken skewers at the pool. Would recommend for couples, girl’s weekend, or just about anything.

It’s a neat place. It’s a party hotel for sure. Rooms are odd but in keeping with the New Orleans theme. No room service. No Kleenex in the rooms unless you ask. Comfortable bed. No room safe. Was a neat experience but likely not stay there again.
