Hotel manager said this was an apt not a hotel? I stayed over a month and Housekeeping came twice. They gave us a hard time asking for towels and toilet paper and using the brooms and mops. I though this was a long stay hotel?

Rip off price gauged
This is mostly for you, hotels.com. You overbooked this hotel by 13 rooms and left us stranded in the lobby at midnight. Other families showed up after us, also with no rooms for them. You also price gauged us by $350 for this roach motel bc it was a race wknd, but then would only give us a $50 credit. I'm a travel agent, good luck having me refer your company to anyone.

Needs to close
First I come into room and turn light on and Roaches were running all over the walls and counter but by this time I could kill some of them they ran under the hood of stove to and behind refrigerator. I opened refrigerator and on top of open door there are 3 dead ones that now cleaned up. We were so tired we figured just sleeping in clothes and leave next day. The reception guy did see us packed up and leaving and he did asked where we were going. I did tell him what happened and he apologized and I told him it is not his fault. It’s the owners. I found out a lot of things about this place. It really needs to be closed and fumigated

Very Disappointed 😠
Requesting a FULL refund ! Dear [Extended StayAmerica Select Suites West Melbourne], I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the room I booked during my recent stay at your location. I encountered several issues that left me extremely disappointed: The chair in the room was severely damaged and unusable. The towels provided were an unpleasant yellow color and appeared unclean. I found hair in both the bed and the bathtub, which was both shocking and unacceptable. Had I not arrived late in the evening, I would have left immediately due to the poor condition of the room. To make matters worse, there was no one available at the front desk to address my concerns or offer assistance. Additionally, the overall smell in the room and the cleanliness of the property were far below acceptable standards. While I did not expect a 5-star experience, I certainly did not expect less than 1 star. I will be contacting corporate with pictures a video. REQUEST A FULL REFUND. This was so shameful 😞

Spent the night in my car due to laziness
I rented a room for two days. I didnt show up until 1230am (due to travel) and there wasnt anyone at the front desk, just a phone number to call. The guy was somewhat rude and told me my booking was canceled as a no show because it was 1230am in the mornings and i was charged a no show fee. The only thing I could do was to wait until 10am and rebook my room. I was not informed that there was a check in no later then 10pm. So stupid. I did get a refund for the no show fee. Just cost me a night of sleeping in the car because i was left in limbo and didnt know the status of my second night. I also didnt want to stretch myself on money due to the situation. Definitely learned the hard way to always call the place you're staying directly and ask what thier policy is. It doesnt always match up to what the sites description is.

Walked in my room and walked out.
Overbooked , gave me a previously used room that someone else declined to use. Keys to room didn’t work, had to be let in by the attendant that doesn’t man the main desk you have to call. While checking in 2 local police officers arrived to deal with a situation in the hotel. The room was dirty with ripped sofa and towels.

Worn, loud, ok bed
The questionable experience started at check-in, the front desk was unattended with a phone number to call...it was 10:30pm. Called the attendant whom I seem to have annoyed for being there late but made it through check in once I confirmed I actually did have an online prepaid reservation. The secure door didn't work with our room key card but the attendant did come around and let us in. Room key card did work at the room though. Cushions on the armchair in the room were frayed and worn out with questionable smeering, possibly food, didn't trust it, flipped the cushion over and cleaned it before using the chair. Other worn aspects of the room included the rusting bathroom mirror frame, the rolling chair at the desk/table area which we also wiped down, and the dirty/moldy shower curtain along the bottom edge. The elevator reaked of pot. I know it is legal now, doesn't mean I want to smell it. Biggest issue was the 4th floor circus above my room, incredibly loud footsteps all night long each of the 3 nights. Apparently the 4th floor was rented by a company, and we weren't the only ones complaining about the noise. The night attendant did check out the noise but it only stopped briefly. Fortunately the bed was comfortable, and did manage to get some sleep despite the all night circus above us. Our room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay, which may be the norm for a short stay at extended stay hotel.

They sold my room and had no room for me
I will never book with this place again. I booked my room and paid for it. When i got there, they didn't have a room for me. The receptionist clearly stated he had just sold the last room that was available to the previous guests. He checked and could see my reservation. WHY TFH DID YOU SELL MY ROOM? I arrived for checking before midnight which i often do in my long trips. I have been doing road trips with my family for many years and slept at countless of hotels, and this never happened. I had to start calling all the hotels around Melbourne to find a room for the night which was mission impossible. The receptionist there who seemed to not know sh** tried to tell me that the place does not do reservations and that the issue was because i used a third party to book the room. I simply laughed. This was a ridiculous reason. I mean...common! He could clearly see my reservation and still sold my room. On top of that he was very rude about it and not showing any empathy. It was late and i had kids in the car. We were all very tired from the long drive. I would give zero star if it was possible. I ended sleeping in a lay-low motel with my family because all the hotels were fully booked. This was my first time and will be my last time ever booking with them. At least, I'm pleased with how hotels.com handled my situation and provided me with my refund in a timely manner.

Poor communication,Un Cooperative and Bad Image
Sold Out. The Guy Austin Stated he was sold out and he can't do anything for me because it was a 3rd party reservation. I have pictures of evidence. No ID, No Credit Card No room was assigned. He clearly was under influence. 10:32pm
