This property was in a perfect location. Within a 15 minute walk, you could reach most of the best “must sees” in Palermo. The room was updated and spotless and the young lady doing the check in was fabulous. I would definitely book here again.

We had a lovely holiday at Pretoria apts which are very centrally situated in Palermo. We communicated with the lovely staff by WhatsApp for late arrival entry and internet access and received quick helpful replies. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The apartment is in a good location, clean and daily servicing kept us topped up with essentials. Cooking facilities were limited to a few pans,a 2 ring hob, kettle and coffee machine. The most frustrating part of the stay was check-in. The details given on their Hotels.com listing wasn’t accurate. They don’t respond to the message facility and when we rang the number we just had an answering service. We turned up at the property and no one was there. Luckily, about 5 minutes later other guests returned to their apartment. They told us they had the same problem trying to check in the day before but were able to put us in contact with the host by phone who then gave us the codes to enter remotely.

Chambre confortable à moins de 5 min à pieds de très beaux endroits à visiter (piazza Bellini, piazza Pretoria), marché Ballaro et théâtre Massimo à 10-15 min. Proche de l un des rues les plus animées et pourtant chambre tres calme et silencieuse. Chambres rénovées confortable et clim très agréable. Seul point négatif pour moi : la lumière du couloir extérieur qui n arrêtait pas de s allumer et s éteindre pendant la nuit et qui a perturbait mon sommeil comme la lumière passe autour de la porte de la chambre.

Plus: Location strategica. Minus: prezzo esagerato rispetto al livello dichiarato. Struttura rinnovata con materiali economici e messa in posa scarsa con sbavature ovunque. La porta di ingresso montata male lascia entre la luce del corridoio, rotta pure quella che va ad intermittenza. Lavello intasato. Sapone doccia contato, luce abat-jour rotta, comodino mai spolverato. Dotazione cucina limitata. 2 bustine di tè economico nepure una bottiglietta d'acqua. Il "Lusso a Palermo" è un'opinione! Plus: Strategic location. Minus: exaggerated price compared to the stated level. Structure renovated with cheap materials and poor installation with burrs everywhere. The entrance door mounted badly, light comes in from the corridor, whose light goes intermittently is also broken. Sink clogged. Shower soap counted, broken desk lamp, nightstand never dusted. Limited kitchen equipment. Just 2 (cheap) tea bags, not even a small bottle of water. "Luxury in Palermo" is an opinion!

Door was installed incorrectly so we had to use the key to leave the room but someone could open the door from the hall. I alerted the owner and they said they would get to it the following day. When I replied that I didn't feel safe and would like them to address it immediately, they ignored me. Also, the hot water was very inconsistent and would go cold to hot and back every couple of minutes. Thirdly, the first night, the toilet had stains running down the side of it. They cleaned it the second day, but still.

Lovely clean comfortable suite. Entry was easy and Michele was very responsive if we needed anything. Only a short stroll from Quattro Canti but on a quieter end of via Maqueda near the university. Some lovely little bars and restaurants just a few steps from the door. Soundproof windows and air conditioning were also very welcome. Enjoyed the views from the balcony.

The checkin process was not clearly defined. There is no check-in desk. The owner has to send you a code to get into the building via Whatsapp. Which is fine if this information is provided to you before you arrive. The location was excellent, a block from the 4 corners intersection, 3 blocks from the market, 3 blocks from the main cathedral. There were lots of restaurants in the vicinity. For those sensitive to noise, it may not be the best selection.

Amazing space and BEST service!!!

The room is fantastic!! Super comfortable bed too!! Also, a rare find in Europe….VERY spacious bathroom!!! Huge amazing shower!! Also, in a really great location. Big thank you to Maggie, who was absolutely marvelous in her attentions and help during our stay!

Modern Surprise in the Heart of Historical Palermo

Beautiful newly renovated suites in an old building in the heart of historical city of Palermo. All the important sights are within walking distance from the property. I highly recommend Pretoria Suites to family, group of friends, couples or solo travelers like me who are exploring Palermo.

Location perfect, close to everything. Check in straight forward, room sufficiently big for 2 persons, very clean, newly renovated, nice decoration, comfortable bed, after closing the windows, it is quiet in the night. Shower water sufficiently warm and strong. Really value-for- money stay.
