Should you stay here? I wouldn’t.
The staff is very kind, but I ultimately had to relocate because I couldn’t continue my stay —even after switching rooms. For $20–$50 more per night, you can find a better hotel.
I stayed in rooms 201 and 102, and neither looked as pictured. Both had noticeable excessive wear and tear (chipped surfaces, scuff marks) and felt unclean (dusty surfaces, mold in the shower, and a lingering odor).
Pros:
• Lovely staff – Helpful and assisted with luggage.
• Good location – Overlooks the river and is close to Santa Croce attractions.
Cons:
• Rooms do not match photos
• Noticeable wear and tear
• Cleanliness could be improved
I appreciated the staff’s efforts, but I wouldn’t stay again.
