Not Maintained
The shower had a musty smell if you closed the door, the toilet had to be jiggled to make it stop. Someone had put coffee grounds in water container of the coffee maker which made us afraid to use. Did not keep coffee in lobby. The view overlooked I295. The breakfast was a joke and very expensive. Also, we had extra charges taken out each of our 2 day stay from our payment source with no documentation as to what the charges were for. Which we now have to contact someone to find out and get corrected or source document. We were there because I had surgery at the Mayo Clinic. We were so disappointed. Holiday Inn use to have a good reputation that made it a no brainer to select them for a decent night stay at a reasonable rate.

Worst stay in a hotel in a decade
Worst experience at a holiday inn I’ve ever had. Rude staff, room smelled like urine the entire stay, toilet worked intermittently, sink wouldn’t shut off, AC/Heat wouldn’t stay on, shower door wouldn’t shut all of the way. Will not be back. Awful 0/10.

Nice hotel off of I-295 in Jax. Clean room. Restaurant in site was okay. Nothing to write home about. Fresh, great tasting coffee in lobby every morning.

Over all a good stay!
Overall a great place that I'd recommend. The shower pressure, although water hot, was really low. Room clean and very functional. The bar was not open the first night there of 4 night stay. Was told it was because a bartender was not available? When the the bar was open it was a very convenient place to use before retiring for the evening.

Need new management!!!!
No shuttle to airport. Tried to eat in restaurant and they said it was not open because they did not have car. No breakfast option like other Holiday Inns and no little store to buy simple items. On our last night, front desk said restaurant was open at 5 pm. We came down and server barked it was open at 5:30 pm. We came back down for dinner. Had to go to bar for refills and to make payment. Poor service!!!!! We did not have a car so really needed food option.

Nice rooms with all important amenities
Great hotel, safe parking, easy check in, rooms are spacious and clean, with Keurig coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Quiet, with friendly staff. Just a few minutes from Town Center and saved me money over the other places I usually stay

Don’t pay extra for the buffet. Overall good stay
The room was a good size and was clean. The bed however was like a rock. The comforters and pillows were plush though. We opted to spend the extra and buy the breakfast buffet in the morning but I guess because of Thanksgiving holidays there was no buffet and the “biscuits” they offered that were microwaved were disgusting unfortunately. On our last day they finally had the “buffet” but I wouldn’t opt to pay the extra for it. Overall we would stay here again.

Please Read…
Positive: Staff was friendly and warm. Beds were comfortable. Negative: The room could have been cleaner. The tub is so slippery I nearly fell multiple times and only used once due to fear of falling. Some broken items and wallpaper issues. My true frustration is the advertising of the amenities by Hotels.com AND Holiday Inn site specific. We had the option of including a buffet breakfast for an additional charge, which we paid at the time of the booking. The pics of the breakfast buffet were good because my husband who really can only do protein, he would have something to eat before 5-10 hour days at the hospital. So there is no more buffet. They provide pre-packed sandwiches and some fruit. They did offer to give us a free selection. None of which he could eat. It’s clear where the area used to be. Apparently they discontinued the self serve breakfast and didn’t fix their pics or advertising. Hotels.com refuses a refund. Clearly false advertising. We would have chosen another place to stay that would accommodate his eating restrictions. Or at the least not paid for something that clearly isn’t there. I’ve requested the ones responsible for BOTH sites to be updated immediately.
