Our room was not as advertised. Our room was advertised with an armchair and ottoman. My husband is a disabled combat veteran and cannot sleep laying down due to being shot in the lower back. The staff said they did not have rooms chairs like what was shown, only wooden kitchen chairs. I asked to be refunded as they did not have the rooms as advertised. They refused and said they could give us a sofa bed, for an additional $150. We declined that offer and asked to be refunded. After an hour of back and forth with the hotel, and hotels.com, they agreed to refund one night. They refused to refund both nights because they claimed my husband was in the room for an hour while we negotiated back and forth. But, my husband was actually in our car the entire time. After agreeing to refund us one night, I asked to be given a receipt for one night, and the female manager said no, grabbed the room key off of me, and said leave the property. Thankfully the Hotels .com rep was still on the line and heard her. He apologized for our behavior and credited our account so we could get another hotel.
