Getting better,but the views are worth every penny

The location and beaches at Divi bay can't be beat. As a second time visit they have improved, as they seem to be getting busier. A couple things could be improved, the pool restaurants are opened and closed at random times, more consistency would be good for guests. The biggest improvement needs to be the road leading to the resort, you have to go down and make a U-turn to get in and out. I only knew because the car rental shuttle driver gave us a heads up, not the resort. But I do love this resort as the views are spectacular.

Nightmare!

It was a nightmare. Before I provide details, I tell you that I stayed at a Divi-family hotel in Aruba in 2024–which was great and the reason that I selected to stay at Divi in St. Maarten in 2025. However, the St. Maarten stay was a horror show for several reasons. (1) Checkin - they didn’t give me the type of room that I reserved. It took one hour to get the correct room. (2) Checkin - they initially told me that I did not have the $80 credit that I was promised when I reserved the room—but when I showed them my confirmation, all of a sudden the credit appeared on their screen. (3) No room cleaning - on the second day, they forgot to clean our room. Fortunately, we were on a day trip; thus, didn’t need the room until the evening. We asked for them to send someone to clean the room while we went to dinner. They said they would send someone at 7:00–but when we returned at 10:00 PM, the room was not cleaned. We had to complain again before they finally cleaned the room. (4) Unfriendly beach staff - the workers who set up the beach chairs and the umbrellas passed by you unless you waved cash at them to show that you intend to tip them. Lack of available taxis -When we walked to reception to go to dinner at restaurants that were off the resort, there would be groups waiting for taxis and eventually were late for their dinner reservations because taxis were not readily available at the hotel. Thereafter, we called a taxi ourselves to pick us up and drop us off when needed.

One bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Had to walk up a bit of a hill to get to room but was ok for us…others may have to use bellman in golf carts for help. Only 2 or 3 buildings with that.

Property and room were excellent. They went above and beyond to please you Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Skip the buffet a lot of cold stuff. Get a flip waffle iron for fresh waffles. We learned to get a freshly made omelette. Wonderful !!

Majority of staff not friendly, beach front rooms desperately needs to be updated. Glass shower door fell off and was unable to be fixed. They tried to tell us just not to slide the one side however we demanded a new room. The food selection on the resort is terrible. We tried their prime rib dinner buffet and it was awful. Items were cold and the prime rib consisted mostly of fat. I can honestly say this was my first and last time to St. Martin

Jlai séjourné a cette hôtel très dispendieuse, près de 700$ la nuit en pensant que c’était un tout inclus vue l’affiche sur Expedia. Finalement ce n’en était pas un… Première nuit, rien à dire tout à été parfait. J’ai quitté pour rejoindre ma mère hospitalisée à l’hôpital du coin. En soirée, l’air climatisée s’est arrêtée, j’ai communiqué avec la réception malheureusement personne ne travaillait pour réparer le tout à cette heure là. Donc nous avons dormi les portes ouverts puisqu’il faisait chaud c’était infernale dans la chambre. Le lendemain matin, toujours pas d’air climatisee, pas de wifi et pas De téléphone pour rejoindre la réception. Pour le prix payer, je suis très déçue.

This isn’t the Ritz Carlton. But the beach and pools are amazing. Room wasn’t perfect but the beach and pool were. Never had to leave the resort if we didn’t want to. Such a beautiful property.

Staying at property was good. The beach front rooms have excellent views. Beach is maintained and clean. My only issue was when calling the front desk feom my room was horrible. I had to call 3 to 5 times before someone picked up. Also, the wait time for getting food from the Shack was very long...there was only one server every night

Great location and beach and the food choices and restaurants were plentiful. However, we were all inclusive and wish they had provided bottled water and cokes in our fridge. We were at the far end of the resort and had to walk quite a distance to even get a water. Also , the resort water shack was worthless -they say they have kayaks and snorkel gear for use but we were told several times they would not check them out because of the wind - the water was as calm as could be. Also we paid for an excursion ahead of time and were told , when we arrived for excursion, that it had been cancelled !! Think they should have told us ahead of time so we could have made other plans!!
