The first room that we requested with a king bed was dirty with construction debris, chunks of sheet rock! The second room with two queen beds wasn't much better. The carpets were dirty with large spots. The caulking in the bathroom was unsightly and not professionally done! The light switches were dirty, the furniture and wood was marked and scraped and appeared dirty. The beds were three feet off the ground which made it hard to get in and out of for a 5'1", senior citizen. The lighting in this dark gray room was terrible with only two small lamps. The free breakfast, which we usually find adequate with fresh eggs, fruit and yogurt, etc.,was limited and not the greatest. However, the staff were very pleasant, courteous and accommodating. This was not a 8.2 star hotel!

Special kudos to the woman who takes care of the breakfast room (on W and F 11/14 and 11/16). She does a wonderful job and goes out of her way to welcome guests!

Would not stay again.
We reserved two rooms. One of them had no bedding on either bed. The next room we were given was on another floor and had NO trash cans. The attached body wash dispenser did not work in either room. The breakfast was phenomenal. The beds were comfortable and it was a good location.

Good location to golf courses. In our bathroom was a 3 inch dead cockroach as soon as we walked in. House cleaning never came into make the beds, only emptied the trash can, so we put the privacy sign up after that.

Our "Go To Hotel" at Pawleys Island
The accommodations were very comfortable. The staff were excellent and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the food fresh.

Nice location, not sure they keep anyone on hand for maintenence - our toilet got clogged and we reported it and no one came all day - went to ask and then we were offered a plunger

This is the 2nd time staying at this property, we came back because it was the best value and the location very convenient. The location never seems to have sufficient supplies like face cloths, hand towels, and bath towels. The fixtures fall off the walls. Floors are cracked. Some of the employees were kind of rude.
