"Very nice small hotel. Within walking distance of many of the sites and the river. Free parking and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Comfortable large room. The patio for eating or relaxing was very pleasant. As you drive up to the hotel, it's good location and nice benefits are not apparent, but become clear as you wander around the neighborhood."

"Biggest complaint is towards Hotels.com way of dealing with reservations - they do not provide direct number to call. It is an old apartment building that remind of communal apartments back in 60ies in Soviet time and there are NO mention of River apartments on outside of building or anywhere inside if you get past door lock with a code. Only way to reach owners and get instruction on how to get into building and get keys is by calling a Hotels.com number - in USA. I after getting really upset...

"On the whole, the National Hotel offered very good value for money as far as I was concerned. We were given a very attractive, spacious room, which was one of the best features of this hotel. The breakfast offered was adequate in that there was some variety and reasonably good quality. One staff member in particular, Greta, offered very good service indeed and demonstrated genuine care for all guests. What was truly outstanding was the hotel restaurant, 'The Fat Cat', to which I would award...

"Automatic checking is a good idea but when you need to request your credentials twice before to get into your room, after 10 hours of travelling... This is not professional. Room was comfy, but so noisy with the Boulevard just down and birthday party on the roof top. When you re here for work, not matching at all. "

"Room at a reasonable rate for a location not far from the city centre. The room was spacious but no air conditioner, no fridge, not even a kettle available. Breakfast was okay. The parking lot was handy. "
