Fantastic place to stay
I can't recommend this hostel highly enough! Everything about it was perfect. Idarrah and Ronald were wonderful, caring hosts and the breakfasts we had everyday were delicious and healthy, with omelette, fruit, bread and coffee. The hostel is in an area of Havana where you get to experience a real neighbourhood, lively with very friendly people. It is a 25 minute walk along the sea front to either the area around Hotel Nacional or the other way to Old Havana. It is easy to take a taxi if it is too hot. I recommend ordering a Cuban SIM from the airport for when you arrive. Also wifi is available in the main hotels. The room was plain but very comfortable and a great bathroom. The building is airy and clean. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Nuestro enstancia en el hostal Havana Tu y Yo era muy, muy agradable. Detras de la fachada se encuentran un patio lindo y las habitaciones muy limpias. La anfitriona nos preparó un desayuno muy rico. Muchas gracias por el acogemiento tan cálido. Recomendamos el hostal. Nosotros también volvimos al final de nuestro viaje!

The hostess was accommodating, the rooms were clean with air conditioning, although very basic standard. No windows, no daylight. Breakfast was 7 EUR extra per person. The hostal was situated in an area which, in every regard, is unfit for someone caring for their own safety. The street outside was lined with trash and felt unsecure both during day and night.

Incredible hosts
Our hosts were extremely kind, always ready to help and advise. The rooms were pleasant, clean and comfortable. The shower and air-conditioning worked very well. We stayed for a week and it went very well. We slept very well in general. You can sometimes hear noise from the street, the TV, phone calls or the air conditioning, but it all stops at a reasonable hour. Havana is a lively place, and that's part of the atmosphere. But I think this place is very quiet compared to others. To get to Old Havana, it's a 15-minute walk or, for a few dollars, you can take the Bici. It's all part of the experience. So I thank our hosts for having us here. For me, Havana will always be marked by their smiles and kindness.

Good value Hostal with a lovely hostess
Lovely hostess, very caring. Makes sure that you are alert to possible scammers and will point you to where you can change your USD at the right rate. Beds good, usual good breakfast. Clean filtered drinking water free from the fridge. Breakfast area nice and cool in the heat. Location central in Havana in what looks a rundown, yet very safe, area about 20 minutes walk, or a USD10 taxi ride from the Capitol. Restaurant round the corner where the locals eat, provided very good and cheap evening meals. Good value, even after allowing for breakfast on top and taxi rides to the Capitol area. TIP: make sure you bring soap, which must be in short supply in Cuba, as it is not provided, like in most of the Casas Particulares that we stayed in. Wifi is available, at a cost, but you need to ask for it and be prepared to pay for it (I don't think that it is expensive). Final point: stay here rather than a hotel to meet real locals. At least this way your money will go to the locals rather than funding the lifestyles of the incompetent politicians. Also the food will be fresh and not re-used as is commonly the case in hotels, apparently. HTH

Bu konumda kalınabilecek belki de en iyi yer. Wifi paylaşımı yok. İlgi sıfır. Sıcak su istedik bir fincan kahve içmek için ama maalesef vermediler. Sadece yatmak için kullandık. Yatma konusunda problem yok. Özellikle üst katı tercih etmelisiniz bence konumdan dolayı. Çok keyifli bir yer değildi açıkçası.

I regret to inform you that my experience at this hostel was unsatisfactory. The rooms weren't so impressive, lacking the expected wow factor. The proximity of the breakfast area to the rooms led to considerable noise, detracting from the overall stay experience. The location of the hostel wasn't as conveniently close to everything as anticipated. Despite booking two double rooms for me and my friend, the owner left us without the second guest's accommodation, and there was no prior information about occupancy restrictions. When we addressed our concerns, the owners' behavior was rude. We received only ironic responses and warnings of eviction. Despite staying only half of the booked days, there was no refund. Overall, the unprofessional behavior was disappointing.

Très bonne adresse au cœur de La Havane
La maison est située dans un quartier central à 10 où 15 mn du centre de La Havane. Quand on franchit la porte, nous arrivons dans une très belle maison qui dénote avec le quartier populaire mais où on ne craint rien. Les chambres sont propres et au calme. La patronne est très serviable. Elle fait tout pour satisfaire la demande des clients. Les petits déjeuners sont également très copieux. À recommander sans hésitation.

No soy de dar malos comentarios, pero la atención que recibimos fue muy mala. La señora muy poco colaborativa, siempre se quejaba de cuando debía darnos desayuno o le pedimos ayuda para algo. No volvería a hospedarme allí, para mí la atención es esencial, sobre todo cuando vas a un lugar donde no conoces nada.
