Good and not so good.
When I checked in I wanted to upgrade to a higher priced room which I was more than willing to pay for but because my reservation was made—but not paid—via hotels.com the clerk would not make the change. The walk to my room with my 84 year old Mother was nicknamed by us as our “hike” to the room. The fire alarm went off erroneously one time. One morning there was no breakfast due to an incident involving the police per the front desk —only after I asked about breakfast after I had waited thinking they were replenishing. Guests repeatedly went to breakfast area to see no hot items and no one from staff explained to them what or why??? The room itself had many nice features. The property overall looked well kept and clean. I needed to add a 7th night and they absolutely gouged me with the price.
