The hotel arranged for a taxi transfer from the airport which turned out to be twice the price as if we would have booked it ourselves + the driver stopped, entered a gas station and stayed away for ten minutes before returning to the car to sit beside it and smoke and talking on the phone for another ten minutes while the whole family just stayed in the car waiting. The hotel itself was beautiful and staff friendly but I could never recommend it as the F&B (food and beverage) was a complete disaster, expensive and tasteless. We spent over two weeks in Vietnam in total and everywhere we went, the food has been absolutely amazing. I can not understand how this could be so bad on such a nice resort, that even offers cooking lessons! Their chefs needs to take one themselves). They could not even make an omelette (onions, vegetables and eggs not ready, served pretty much cold and raw) the coffee wasn’t warm, the smoothies tasted like nothing and none of the dishes we tried (seafood, beef, chicken, noodles, rice in different combinations) were good - only expensive. The facility is great but you can’t eat or drink anything, unfortunately.
