Last minute notification - hotel not available
Everything seemed to be going fine till the morning of travel - they sent me a notification on my day of travel that my hotel was closed and that I could stay at a sister property, leaving me with no option to actually check if the sister property was equivalent. I ended up booking an expensive option elsewhere since I didn't want to land in St. Thomas and have no room to stay.

The room showed in the photo is public space for 5 rooms - and there were no chairs at the table. There is no outside light and this appears to be from a different building. Our first room had dirty sheets on the bed, trash on the floor, and had not been cleaned. They offered another uncleaned room. The 3rd room had other people still staying in it. The 4th room was made up but had black mold along the floorboards and the AC did not work. It was hot and humid. There was no lock on the outside door, and some of the inside locks apparently didn't work. It appears the area is not safe - given bars and all windows and razor wire on many buildings along the length of St. Thomas. I called to cancel and they said they would check with management about a refund. They never responded to me.

I was never able to check in. I sent several emails and no one responded. There was water heaters in the court yard, trash no one in the lobby. No one available to answer the phone or emails. This place is a rip off! And I want my money back. When I pulled up there was 4 other families that were there and they all called a taxi and left. Do not stay here if you pay you won’t even be able to check in.

We were not connected to the management and I asked for a refund. We came into the room and left immediately because of the filth. You can only reach them by phone because there is no office. Please help us get a refund.

Total Disarmament!! We want our money back!!
It was a mess from the start (day of check-in) we had great difficulty getting the door code. We had rented a two bedroom villa and we were shocked at the condition of the room that we were told was our room. First of all, it was a 1 bedroom unit. When I called to report this was not our room, we were told the other couple traveling with us had to submit a form before they would get their room code. It turns out, that room was what we should have been given. It was a two bedroom unit like the one I thought we had paid for. By this time, it was very late, we were all tired so we used the rooms we were assigned. In the morning, I discovered the shower would not work! This sort of (bait and switch) is totally unacceptable!!!! I think we deserve our money back!!!
