Dejlig stort værelse med køkken, stor terrasse og privat parkering. Ligger meget centralt i Taormina, men kort afstand til alt. Vi kunne helt sikkert godt bo der igen.

Thank you for an amazing stay, we visited for our anniversary and were not disappointed! The first thing was the room was big and spacious, the terrace/ balcony was big, with a hot tub and great views of the sea, and mountains around. It was only around a 5-10 minute walk from Taormina, and 5 mins walk from the cable car which takes you down to the beach. Esther was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!!!

Jeg anbefaler ikke Taormina som reisemål, men om du skal innom her på rundreise på Sicilia, er Medea residence et perfekt sted å bo. Flott basseng omringet av frukttrær. Stille og rolige omgivelser både dag og natt. Rent og pent.

Está bien ubicado a 10 min andando del centro de Taormina. Hay un descampado de autobuses en reparación que fastidian la belleza del lugar. El conserje es un buen hombre, aunque muy dejado, despistado. Enseña el barrigón, fuma, tiene aspecto sucio. El apartamento está bien, había un jacuzzi afuera de la habitación que no pudimos usar.

Not like the pictures
The property was not as the pictures, our room was tired and smelled of cigarettes. The surroundings of the property were not well maintained and had boxes of rubbish. The host was nice and helpful though and it was a decent stay but could do with some love.

We found that the apartment did not live up to the excellent photographs and reviews it got on the website. Our apartment was dull and in need of refurbishment. Having said that Ester was great with communications and very helpful with our questions.

There are some great things about this property. The pool is fantastic. It is nicer than it looks in the photos and surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs, a nice wooden deck, fruit trees and an amazing view of the sea. Given how hot it was, we were so happy to have this to come back to after walking around or even from the beach. We stayed in one of the apartments, right next to the pool. The rooms are very spacious, the AC and shower are great, and they are very clean. If they invested in some new furniture and fixtures, it could be really special. As is, they are somewhat dated, random and just not very nice. Esther is great with communication in advance of check in and while there. But be aware she is not there on Sundays and we were not able to get in touch with her at all that day, although it’s possible this is an exception. She really was great otherwise. The worst part is the walk to town. It’s only 10 min, but uphill, in the heat, along the main road. There are bits of sidewalk, but most of it you are just sticking to the side of the road hoping the cars watch out. If the weather was cool, we might not have minded this walk, but by the 2nd day, it had already become somewhat wearing for every meal or activity (there is nothing at all right by or in the hotel). We didn’t like Taormina very much (too touristy and hoity-toity) but had a fairly nice stay here.

Kommer gjerne tilbake
Hele familien likte seg veldig godt på Medea Residence. Supert basseng som er større enn det ser ut til på bilder. Flott med stor balkong og mulighet til å lage middag og kaffe etc på rommet. Rent og pent og fine omgivelser. Passelig gåavstand til sentrum og dagligvarebutikk.

We would definitely recommend
We had a perfect stay at Medea Residence! We really enjoyed having an entire apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. And an extra plus: The pool is heated so even though the weather wasn’t the best, we could still enjoy some pool time. The residence is approximately 10 minutes from the city of Taormina by foot (uphill, so the walk is a little hard). The owners were extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. We could not have asked for more!

Die Residenz ist wunderschön und liebevoll angelegt mit viel künstlerischen Flair. Die große Dachterrasse mit einem fantastischen Ausblick auf den gesamten Küstenstreifen und über das Meer auf Kalabrien lädt zum Verweilen und Frühstücken ein. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist äußerst liebevoll und extravagant. Es ist fraglich, ob es zu diesem günstigen Preis in der Nachsaison eine Alternative mit demselben Niveau gibt. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Studio avec terasse jacuzzi & piscine
Spacieux studio climatisé avec une magnifique terrasse vue mer sur la cote de Taromine - Letojanni. La résidence est esuipé d’une piscine. Le studio peut accueillir 4 personnes avec un lit deux places et un canapé lit. Il est équipé de tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiné. Bonus qui n’était pas precisé, la terrasse était équipée d’un spacieux jacuzzi. Il offre aussi une possibilité de parking. La résidence est à 400m du centre, 500m du supermarché CRAI et le marché communale, à côté des principaux parking de la ville, 200m du teleferique pour Isola Bella à 3€, mais aussi 200m du parking pour le bus qui s’y rend aussi pour 1,10€. Il est possible d’acceder à Isola Bella en 25min à pied également. Le taxi coute 15€ pour venir de la gare. Bonne communication par mail avec Daniela très disponible. Le propriétaire nous a fait l’honneur de nous raccompagner gracieusement à la gare. Merci encore ! Juste dommage le parking du bus en dessous qui gâche un peu la vue et peu faire du bruit le matin si les fenêtres sont ouvertes.
