Well located in Palm Springs
The Rowan is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Palm Springs. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious. The rooftop pool offers a lovely view of the mountains, and the dining options are of quality.
There are, however, a few downsides, some of which are probably due to the low season in August in Palm Springs. There is no room service after 10 p.m., it’s impossible to get sparkling water after 10 p.m., and no one is available to bring luggage to your room, instead, trolleys are provided for guests to load and unload their belongings themselves.
The front desk staff are rather cold and unfriendly. The valets, on the other hand, are extremely friendly.
The hotel has a more modern, brutalist style, rather than the 50s/60s design typical of many other places in Palm Springs.
