Value for money room
4 nights, checked in to a broken room heater not working. Changed to a nicer warm room. There is only one staff at the front desk. Staff is helpful. Comfortable bed n nice pillow. Great location, close by are airport bus, Metro, St Denis eateries. Will stay again.

Bizarre
We had a nice room in this hotel but we had issues! Our sink wouldn’t drain and employees spent a few hours trying to fix it to no avail. On our third day we had no Bath towels and on going down to the front desk I was given 6 hand towels as there were no bath towels! Also there were two bus loads of students in the hotel and hallways till all hours! The hotel added extra security guards but this only helped a little! This was a bizarre experience

Overall comfortable

Unrecognized cash payment, check in 20 dec 2024
I have made a claim twice for the payment I have made for the parking, during the check in I made the payment for the parking in cash and even so they charged it to my credit card, now the receptionist tells me that she does not recognize the payment and that I must have proof, she has asked the person who charged me and I believe more in her word than in mine, when it should have been her who should have done her job well and not me, because she is the one on the other side of the desk.

Read the reviews! Not just this one.
On our way to breakfast one morning we decided a more healthy option was to take the stairs. We were staying on the 4th floor and entered the stairway closest to our room. Door was propped open so we went down to the basement where breakfast is served. But we could not exit the stairwell. Door was locked and emergency push bar did not override lock. Went up to the first floor only to find the same, door locked. Went upstairs to second floor and found door popped open and was then able to exit stairwell. BEWARE You can get locked in stairs. Would be trapped if trying to escape in an emergency. And when we did get to breakfast there was not a clean dish to be found. I used to hot water from the coffee machine to wash a dish from the pile of supposed clean dishes under counter. Most felt rough and one even has some residue on it. I tried to pick up a glass and it was stuck to the tray. Next day could not get anything for breakfast. No dishes at all. Used a water glass for coffee and grinds again. We were there for 4 nights and every morning the coffee had grinds in each cup. Went to front desk and asked for a manager but only got a woman who turned, walked away and closed the door behind her leaving me alone at the desk. I wish my husband had read the reviews before we booked this.
