OK stay
The amount I was charged at check-in was more than the amount quoted by hotels.com. The receptionist took the initiatives to explain to me it was due to VAT. Although the increased amount was more than 5%, appreciated the way the receptionist communicated with me.
The room quality was OK, but the housekeeping wasn't done on the first day as they said "everyday they clear the room for 1 time, so the check-in date won't get housekeeping service". However, it's true I checked in late at 2PM due to late flight, but I also paid for the first night. The receptionist quickly arranged the room clearance after I told them my case, but I think the system wasn't quite correct and deserves the management some changes.
Basically it is a hotel that I would return for another stay. The reception quality was good, especially the day shift. The night shift receptionist was OK, but needed the bell boy to help translate to English.
The worst thing was the 2nd night. Next to the hotel was a construction site, and they were working whole night for pouring concrete until the morning! I thus couldn't sleep at all. Fortunately it only happened 1 night. According to their case, I am afraid this will happen 1 time per circle, when they construct each floor.
