I was very disappointed with my recent stay. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, yet the room smelled heavily of smoke as soon as we walked in. The odor was so strong that we had to open the window just to try to air it out.
The room was extremely outdated and looked nothing like the photos advertised online. Cleanliness was also a major issue. There was dust everywhere, visible mold, and the pillows were dirty and clearly old. It did not feel sanitary or properly maintained.
When I requested extra clean towels, they never arrived. I eventually had to go down to the lobby myself to get them. When I mentioned that I had already requested them earlier, my concern was dismissed rather than handled professionally.
Even Hotels.com customer service attempted to reach out to the property regarding these issues, but their call was reportedly dropped, and no meaningful follow-up occurred.
Overall, this stay was far below expectations. Between the smoke smell, poor cleanliness, outdated condition, and lack of responsive service, it was a very frustrating experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests.
