I have stayed at this hotel several times and never had an experience like this. The shower was filthy with shoe prints and dirt in it. I’m assuming that housekeeping was attempting to clean it and walked in it with their shoes on and there were shoe print all in the shower.

Very disappointed
We were in town for a family funeral in the area. Anytime we visit family in that area We always stay at this hotel. The last two visits we have had to go at night and request towels washcloths in order to take a shower. When we arrive back at the hotel yesterday afternoon housekeeping was just outside our door. I advised the housekeeper that we had had to go down to the front desk prior on the night before to request towels and washcloths. Her only response was good so I then informed her that we had no toilet tissue in the room. She said how many rolls do you want? I quickly replied, I only need one. We have always loved this location the location it’s walkable to downtown Natchitoches, but I will never stay there again like I said the last two times that we have been there we have had this happen. I do want to say the young girl at the check-in desk was precious. She was so nice. She was so kind. I felt bad for her to have to run around and find the towels and washcloths, but she did that for us so she was very nice. the heating system oh my goodness you cannot sleep at night because it is so horribly loud. had I never stayed here before I might just feel like this was the norm, but I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times with my husband when our two older grandchildren were very young. We would bring them there on family trips. Stayed there many many times but never again.

So far everything is amazing. Only thing that got questioning the price, is the shower in the bathroom needing a lot of attention. The floor needs a real good scrubbing, walls need to be bleached and entire shower needs Zeps mold and mildew remover. The cleanliness of the A/C units is non existent. There is also a vent in the master bedroom hanging from the wall. Other than this things, we loved the room😁

Very good!
The location is excellent, close to the river, shops and restaurants. Has parking space. It looks old but that is the appeal of the hotel actually. Room is big and has all the standard stuff. Clean , too. Would stay there again for sure.

Dirty
Room was dirty and the bathroom was moldy. Stick to the bathroom floors. Had to spend an hour on text with hotel.con to ask the hotel for a refund. Customer service was only available through text and was difficult to find. Can’t understand how this hotel can have its rating. Hallways were dirty and had to take pictures for the staff. Bed was like a brick then I checked out the bathroom and was shocked for $300. I wouldn’t have been shocked if it was $65 but it was $300 a night. Hotels.com also makes it so hard to navigate to cancel after checking in.
