We stayed only one night at Lagarta Lodge to kick off our vacation in Nosara and I didn’t want to leave! The property is absolutely stunning with a very special view from high up looking out to the ocean, that other hotels in the area don’t have available to them. We did a biological reserve tour and a couples massage and they both were highlights of our entire trip. The food was also our top favorite meals. The staff is so attentive and kind, and easy to get in contact with instantly via WhatsApp. We really did feel like VIP. Would 1000% stay again and recommend anyone else to at least spend a couple of nights at Lagarta Lodge while in Nosara.

A true gem. The staff and property were incredible. Quiet the car ride to get there, bumpy and twisty for a few hours, but it was an incredible stay once there. 10/10.

Fantastic views of Playa Nosara and Ostional from the heated, slat water pools. The rooms all have great views of the canopy and ocean and are simply, yet beautifully laid out and decorated. Definitely one of my favourite spots to stay in the Nosara area.

This Hotel is just a dream come true!! Stunning views everywhere you are. Staff is extraordinary, all of them! Food is delicious with an extraordinary assortment of delicious dishes served with the highest of professionalism. You can arrange several activities and tours with the best selection of things to visitor so around, the local guide from the hotel is amazing. The Spa is marvelous, Maria can make your vacation even better working on deep tissue massage. Reception deserve the million dollar price, Erein the front desk supervisor and his team are simply amazing!! Every single detail is covered in this piece of heaven, surrendered by the jungle and the best Pacific views you can dream. Definitely, the best hotel we never been so far. Can wait to come back!

We loved our stay here! Immediately felt the luxury with our welcome towel and drink. The property was beautiful!! We loved the biological reserve view and hike. The food was impeccable! The rooms were comfortable and we really loved our balcony and hammock. All in all, we hope to return one day because we loved nosara and this stay was perfect.

Estuvimos 6 dias en Lagarta Lodge y nos la pasamos super bien.... no habia visto personal tan amable como en este hotel la verdad, muy serviciales, la comida es restaurante super bien preparada, riquisima la verdad mis felicitaciones al Chef que tienen.... fue una estadia espectacular la verdad mis hijos, mi esposa y su servidor nos la pasamos super bien...excelente e inigualable experiencia, regresaria sin dudarlo, lo mejor de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas a Costa Rica ....mis felicitaciones a Dilan, David del restaurante asi como a Daniel y Samuel y a los demas chicos de la recepcion.... Lo unico feo y peligroso es el Mar la verdad, mejor ni meterse, ir a conocer y listo, nadamas.

What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. We also drove to area beaches and restaurants- but were always happy to return to our oasis on the hilltop! I would return in a heartbeat.
