Bom, charmoso e agradável.
Hotel bom com um bom café da manhã e localização excelente. Ter somente uma tomada no banheiro é desagradável e limitante. O prédio é centrnário, trm seu charme, mas restringe o uso de eletricidade. Atendentes maravilhosos. A praça não permite a entrada de carros. Prefira o quarto dos fundos, se for ficar num final de semana.

Hotel antigo com bom atendimento e excelente localização no coração do Bairro Gótico, ao lado da Rambla, Mercado La Boqueria, El Born, Barceloneta, estação de França. Ótimo custo beneficio. Café da manhã com 3 tipos de pão, muffin, iogurte, cereal e máquinas de café expresso. Staff gentil . Meu quarto era pequeno porque pedi acomodação sileciosa, pros fundos. O hotel é bom, apesar de ser bem antigo. A localização é muito boa, bem perto da Las Ramblas. Escolhemos este hotel pela localização, estar próximo das atrações que poderíamos visitar a pé, e também que estivesse próximo do porto. Por ser um prédio bem antigo, o acesso aos andares é por escada ou um elevador bem precário (deu medo entrar nele)...hehe Café da manhã bem simples, mas aceitável.

Average hotel, central location.
Basic hotel. Bathroom was in poor condition. Good water pressure/temperature. Shutters were cable tied together on balcony. Very loud outside every night, right through to 5am on two nights, 3am the third night. Central location, close to Ramblas, Marina and Cathedral. Breakfast was cereal, yoghurt, croissants, rolls and muffins.

Very good but set your expectations accordingly
This hotel was on our last couple days of a 3 week trip. I prioritized location and safety first. There were better 2 to 3 star hotels which were newer and had better rooms but either their location wasn’t optimal for walking the gothic quarter and or was in a small tight alley in the gothic quarter which is a hit or miss on safety as well as getting taxis. Also this hotel is cheaper than all of them and IS NOT a hostel. So this is a 2 star hotel with its own restaurant that is a little worn but well kept considering and can compete with hostel prices easily if you reserve long enough in advance and it helps to be off season. Room was fine and I requested for a balcony and got it. Also we checked in very early from a cruise ship and our room was already ready. If not they do store your bags in storage until it is ready. There are safes you can use up front for 2.5 Euros per day since the room does not have one. As for the room it was spartan, minimal a little dated but clean. Hall noise and your neighbors noise will easily pass through the walls. If you get a window or balcony facing the plaza you WILL hear all the noise late into the morning til about 6am. YES. It’s not because of massive parties and events at the plaza which does happen with all the restaurants and street vendors but you get the colosseum echo effect with even small groups. I’m a heavy sleeper so no problem here. Great views though with the balcony. Centrally located is a big plus.

The hotel is dated for sure. But the area is amazing. You can walk anywhere- bus -taxi -subway all within walking distance. But the shops and restaurants around are great!! The Barcelona Cathedral is a 10min walk. And a must see. Absolutely beautiful there. I would definitely go again. And I’d stay at this hotel again because it is so central to everything even though it is dated.
