A real pearl! Nice rooms and surroundings, great views to the Palais des Papes and Mont Ventoux! Falco is very welcoming host! We will definitely recommend to stay here although it is on the other side of the river from Avignon.

One of the best places I have stayed at in Europe! If you want a relaxing stay in an authentic, picturesque quaint French village, Maison Orsini is must! We had the best time ever! Amazing accomodation, views , gardens and pool we pretty much had to ourselves! This is a place I could return to many times! Thank you to our wonderful host!

This is a gorgeous location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings. They endured my (not so great) French, so I could practice, with unbelievable grace and charm. Folco was a hero. The breakfasts were a wonderful addition.

It’s a unique place with an operator that cares. The structure was built in the 1300’s and a delightful view. A very French vibe and intentionally chill. Want to stare and the view and sip your wine from a nearby store? This place is for you. One note. If you drive your own car. Make sure it’s a small one 😊

Maison Orsini is a beautiful selection of historic buildings that open onto a courtyard and garden. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and the views from the Maison over Avignon and beyond are spectacular. About 20 minutes will walk you over to Avignon or there is a bus at the bottom of the road. Villeneuve Les Avignon is a lovely town with great places to eat and a castle overlooking the countryside. Our host, Folco, could not have been more helpful and supplied a wonderful breakfast every morning which was composed of local produce including cheeses, ham, bread, fruit and other food. Folco is also a great help in recommending restaurants and activities. He was a superb host. I could go on, but it would be fair to say that Maison Orsini was one of the best places we have ever stayed, we were looked after so well and we absolutely would go back again. The views alone from the terrace as you eat your breakfast are justification enough to book.

Would highly recommend. Rustic room with extra sitting room, private balcony overlooking the river and palace of the Popes. Enjoyed walking around the old village, just down the hill from Maison Orisini. Host was wonderful providing maps and a tasty breakfast. We stayed 4 nights. No.5 Bus close by into main town of Avignon or 35mins walk.

a quiet, charming hotel 5 minutes from Avignon

A charming, quaint hotel across the river from Avignon (5 minute drive) with spectacular views of the river and of the Popes Palace, the main attraction in Avignon. The facilities were nice. A typical French breakfast was served of croissants, fruit,yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, coffee, tea, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

We loved being able to experience France at Maison-Orsini. Our host, Folco, was gracious, helpful, and friendly. Our room was comfortable and we slept well in the peace and quiet. This is a place to relax with a book outside on the terrace; or enjoy a glass of wine and watch the moon rise over the city of Avignon.

Lovely property that has not reached its potential. Still enjoyed it mainly because of magnificent views and kind host. Beds, towels need upgrades and breakfast service could be so much nicer with just a little more attention to presentation.

This property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, historic. It far exceeded our expectations. Folco , the manager, was wonderful and very kind. The breakfast was delicious. We spent 2 weeks in France and this is the stay that we will remember. This was the very best experience we have ever had with lodging in and out of the US. The location is great . It is a 15 minute walk to town and great restaurants. Walking along the river and the canal was so good for the soul. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thank you Folco

Historic and charming place to stay in Avignon

This historic property with a view cannot be beat. Folco was a gracious host, helping to arrange travel to and from the property, getting us checked in, providing recommendations on places to eat and visit. In addition he provided us with a little bit of a history lesson on the property and town. On the last morning we had an early train to Marseille and he made sure we had breakfast, arranged a taxi, and helped us with our luggage. We enjoyed this property very much to the point we keep talking about it and looking forward to returning. Highly recommend.

이번 프랑스 여행에서 가장 잘 한 일 중 하나는 이곳에서 숙박한 일입니다. 도착과 동시에 너무 따뜻하게 맞이해 주시고 아주 상세하게 많은 것을 설명해 주셨어요. 매일 정돈해주시는 침대는 얼마나 편안한지! 오래된 마을에서의 숙박은 두근두근 너무 근사했습니다. 아침엔 정갈하고 맛있는 식사를 하고 (주스와 커피를 둘 다 마시세요. 정말 맛있습니다!) 조용하지만 의외로 볼 게 많은 동네를 선택하고 돌아와 테라스에서 강을 바라보면 마음이 충만해집니다. 아비뇽 시내에서 버스로 10분 정도라서 의외로 접근성이 나쁘지 않아요. 혼자 차 없이 여행하는 사람들도 편안하게 숙박할 수 있습니다. 버스도 자주 오고 택시 불러도 굉장히 빨리 와요. 저녁식사를 꼭 하고 싶었는데 식사 가능한 날에 풀북이어서 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 다음엔 꼭 다시 와서 식사도 하고 싶네요. 마지막으로 정말 따뜻하게 반겨주시고 불편한 점이 있는지 세심하게 신경써주셔서 감사했습니다. 덕분에 프랑스에 따뜻한 기억을 가지고 떠납니다.
