Nice chilled stay!
Had a great time staying at this place. Was met at the pier by a kid on a moped who brought our luggage up the hill. Make sure you organise this because I don’t think it would be much fun having to drag your cases along the beach and up the hill under the heat of the midday sun!! Very friendly staff, and a decent sized airy bungalow with good air con and WiFi The Japanese restaurant next door serves good food and is worth eating at if you don’t feel like trekking down the hill and back up again. Our bungalow was a bit further up the hill and had plenty of shade. I don’t think I’d like to be in the front bungalows that seemed to be in complete sunlight for the whole day

Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva perus-bungalow
Mäen päällä oleva bungalow-kylä joissa toimivat sähköt ja ilmastointi (ei ilmeisesti saarella niin yleistä) ja myös wifi välillä. Yleinen siisteystaso olisi kaivannut parannusta, pyyhkeet olivat välillä likaisia ja kylpyhuone olisi myös kaivannut puunausta. Sijainti oli mukavan rauhallinen, mutta ympäristöstä kuului sisälle paljon luonnonääniä kuten kukon kieuntaa jne. Bungalowiin kiipeäminen vaati 100m kävelyn mäkeä ylös joten ei sovellu liikuntarajoittuneille. Söimme kertaalleen aamiaisen ja emme suosittele, parempaa ja edullisempaa saa rannan ravintoloista. Hotellin paikalliset omistajat eivät puhuneet sanaakaan englantia, mutta paikalla oli välillä belgialainen kaveri Simon joka jeesasi käytännön asioiden kanssa tarvittaessa.

Gehobene Ausstattung für Koh Rong
Liegt etwas oberhalb des Strands, der kleine steile Anstieg stellt aber kein Problem dar. Gepäck wurde von der Fähre abgeholt und zur Rezeption gebracht. Extrem freundliche Mitarbeiter. Check-In in 1 Minute abgehakt. Ansonsten gibt es Warmwasser und eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, die man auch 24h benötigt.

The owner was very helpful (use Facebook to contact the property, neither emails nor through Expedia worked), going down to the jetty to pick us up. As stated by others, the property is a little ways uphill so travellers not in good shape or with lots of luggage have to be warned

A small bit of "luxury" at Koh Rong
The location is very good at Koh Rong, the garden very well taken care of and the WiFi impressive. The bungalow was quite nice, not as the pictures would show, but the general state at Koh Rong is pretty worn. Don't expect complete sea view, but definitely adequate view with a good balcony and its pretty quiet. There's a lot of reviews stating the the rooms are pretty hot during the day, especially under the 1-5 short powercuts during the day on my visit. And yes it is, the room consists of windows on 3 sides and are located on an island in South East Asia - that must be expected. I had a 4 days stay here, and the room was cleaned once, since I've stayed other places at Koh Rong, this is the standard. I would stay there again. With a bit of maintenance work, these bungalows could be state of the art, but are allready above the general state at Koh Rong.

A private place on a paradise island
Private bungalow with glass walls on a paradise island? Sign me up! Everything was pretty great about the room itself (God bless the air conditioning!), but it turns into a sauna during the day, when you leave it with the air con turned off. Just make sure that you spend the first 30min on your terrace while the room is cooling down. Other than that? Just outside the village, quiet and slightly hidden from the parties. Beach just in front of the path, bars and restaurants already 50m away, the atmosphere of Koh Rong present everywhere :)

Got attacked by bed bugs in the room. Extremely annoying!!! In agony and had to decontaminate all my belongings. Nightmare stuff!

Außergewöhnlich gebaute Bungalows, gute Lage mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Die Einrichtung ist etwas unpraktisch. Die Klimaanlage hat aber sehr gut funktioniert. Leider hat das Restaurant nicht mehr geöffnet.
