Not a 4-star hotel
Room was fairly small and a little dated although they had done some updates. The bar/restaurant was a joke; it was beyond slow, dirty, and the bar tender didn’t sit on people in the order they arrived. It took a significant amount of time to get an elevator up or down, so I don’t know if all of them were actually working.

Could have been a lot better
The room hadn't been fully cleaned, so the beds weren't made and there was hair in the corner of the shower. There wasn't any toilet paper or tissues. It seems like a hotel that you would stay at if you are 20 and in town for a show in the theater district and simply need a room to stay.

Very Happy but!
The staff, building, location, and events was great!
The game room needs attention!! Pool table needs to be thrown away. There need to be more games and tvs if you’re going to call it a game room.

Deluxe King disappointment
I thought this location would be nice due to the location In Nashville being one of my fav and the $500 a night price that I paid, I was wrong. The location is nice but of course parking sucks. No attached garage or valet and expensive. The room had cracked and molded tile. Had to kill a couple of really big gnats on the bathroom. The furniture(couch) was terribly dirty/stained and even looked as if there was bleach spilled on it. I was told my stained duvet cover could not be replaced because ALL of the clean ones were stained so I had to adjust the room temperature to keep it comfy enough to survive with my sheet. I really expected more from this hotel.
The staff was friendly

Mostly great with some quirks
We appreciated many things about this hotel, mainly its excellent location for both marathon runners and marathon spectators!!! We also loved the size of the room and its tasteful decor. One thing that was not great was the constant noise from the street, where we could hear sirens and honking and voices all night! A last odd thing for us was that our room was below the lobby (on the 9th floor) which, although perfectly fine in the end, made us feel psychologically like we were not valued guests somehow.

This was the loudest stay I have ever had. I heard every single noise outside of the window - it was truly ridiculous.
The hotel itself was fine but not as nice as I expected for the price. The paint on the ceiling was peeling and for some reason there was a bag over the smoke detector in my room. The room itself was clean but it just seemed like they chose the “cheapest” options of a lot of things. The staff was overall very kind - the doorman on the first day of our stay was pretty grumpy, but when we saw him again he was very pleasant so I’m assuming he was just having a rough day - which happens!
I expected a lot more than I received for the price I paid. I think this hotel is fine but it is not somewhere I would stay again.

Okay for short Theatreland stay
The CAMBRIA is so-so. The room is of decent size, clean, well equipped and convenient for the Blue line (good if you arrive from O’Hare). The sound proofing is awful and on entry all we could hear was drumming from the street. We were on the 4th floor and upon asking for room higher up, we were given the 6th - not much of an improvement. We were due to stay four nights but checked out after one. Rooms are quite dark and lack character. The foyer is the same, not much of a vibe. Strange given how great Chicago is!
