In den Zimmern ist es recht laut,nicht der Verkehr sondern alles was auf dem Flur/anderen Zimmern passiert. Ausstattung etc. ist ok aber für den Zimmerpreis niemals angemessen.

We arrived but there was no reservation. After showing my email confirmation we were offered to stay in a furnished apartment nearby for same price. Unfortunately it smelled really rotten and we noticed mold on the wall.

Wonderful getaway
We want,ed to stay close to Ruedesheim,mand this hotel.came up on Expedia. It is a grat place. The rooms are large, well furnished, the bathroom is greta. The only thing we did not like; they must have known we were coming, but the heat was not turned on. It was freezing and took two days to warm up. However they made sure we were comfortable by giving us an extra heather. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but the shower head needed fixing. Food was delicious, and breakfast was more than we ever could eat. I sure will stay there on my. Next trip to Getmany.

passer votre chemin !!
Arrivée vers 18 heures dans une chambre "froide", pas possible de se doucher après la route , rideaux qui laissent passer la vue de l’extérieur et impossible de cacher la vue sur le lit, onse cogne la tête pour aller se coucher "mansardée ", bref, la plus mauvaise chambre depuis bien longtemps !!!

Zimmer veraltert, Essen lecker, Service merkwürdig
Wir haben hier zusammen mit meinen Eltern in jeweils einem Doppelzimmer übernachtet und sowohl abends gegessen als auch gefrühstückt. Die Begrüßung durch den Koch und eine junge Angestellte war sehr freundlich. Das Haus sieht von außen sehr schön aus, Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind jedoch in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer ist altmodisch aber liebevoll eingerichtet. Oberflächlich ist alles sauber, im Bad an der Duschwanne waren jedoch schwarze Flecken. Das Bad in Zimmer 8 war etwa 2 qm klein. Das Bett ist sehr niedrig. Das Abendessen war reichhaltig und lecker. Bis 21.00 Uhr war das angegliederte italienische Restaurant gut besucht. Danach saßen wir alleine dort, was ja an sich kein Problem gewesen wäre, wenn man uns durch die lauter werdende Musik und das Eindecken für das Frühstück nicht zu verstehen gegeben hätte, dass wir auch langsam gehen sollten. Um 21.30 Uhr ist die Kellnerin gegangen, etwas später wurde der Koch von der dritten anwesenden Person (Inhaber?) nach Hause gefahren. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten, obwohl unsrere Gläser teilweise leer waren. Wir müssten also warten bis der Fahrer wieder da war. Die Beleuchtung wurde auch gedimmt. Wir haben dann gezahlt, statt noch etwas zu trinken, was wir eigentlich gerne getan hätten. Dann hat angeblich das Kartenlesegerät nicht funktioniert und wir mussten bar zahlen. Eine Rechnung haben wir nicht erhalten. Alles etwas dubios. Das Frühstück war OK. Das Kartenlesegerät ging wieder....

Man hat es nicht nötig ...
Das Hotel ist ok, aber man merkt, dass es gut gebucht ist und man sich scheinbar wenig Mühe mit den Gästen geben muss. Der Empfang am späten Abend war eher "muffig" - man hielt uns wohl für Restaurantgäste und wollte in der Küche keinen Betrieb mehr. Das Frühstück war eher lieblos, was man daran sieht, dass das Rührei ohne funktionierende Warmhaltung aufs Buffet stellt und auch nicht nachfüllt. Die Fotos von der Aussicht des Hotels aufs Rheintal stimmen nicht - Aussicht ist nicht vorhanden. Beim Bezahlen wurde versucht, einen höheren Preis abzurechnen.

Charming hotel with terrific service.
The owner was an absolute Gem after a real lousy day on the autobahn. A trip that should have taken 4 hours, took 7 because of road construction delays. We arrived at 10:30 pm and had to phone him. He came down, helped us with our luggage and then returned with a carafe of coffee with creams and sugar. Just super! After the day we'd had he was a breathe of fresh air. He made us feel welcome and at home even though it was late in the evening. The next morning we stood on our balcony and enjoyed the gorgeous view as we looked around. We also found the cascading creek beside the hotel that we had only heard the night before. Breakfast was as we had come to expect. Buns, different breads, jams, cold cuts, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts, juices, tea and coffee. And for those who like it, as most places, served butter milk. Loved the regional and old authenticity of the hotel. Charming, neat and clean. Terrific view. Terrific staff. Easy to find. Worth every nickel spent.

Habe das Hotel zu 1 Übernachtung auf einer Reise durch das Rheintal genutzt. Mit dem angeschlossenen guten italienischen Restaurant als Station durchaus zu empfehlen. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber.

Up By The Old Mill Stream
We found ourselves on the opposite bank of the Rhein River, and crossed over to the Hotel side by ferry boat. After that 5-minute "Rhein Cruise", the Hotel was up a hill, easy to locate, and parking was found directly in front of the building. Years ago, part of the building was used as a waterwheel-driven mill (thus the "mühle" in the Hotel's name). The location includes a restaurant and overnight accommodations, thereby offering a convenient stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and located directly above the mill stream. Our hosts were very friendly and good conversationalists. The restaurant food was tasty and moderately priced, and offered "Italian" and regional items. The morning "Frühstück" consisted of eggs, meat, cheese, rolls, juice, tea, and coffee. The Hotel is located just a few kilometers from the famous "Loreley" rock from old German lore.

Hotel-Enttäuschung
Das Hotel liegt abseits an einer steilen Straße direkt in einer Kurve ohne großes Umfeld. Zustand und Ausstattung 60 er Jahre. Der Hoteleigentümer war nicht anwesend. Der Pächter der Gaststätte übernimmt einschecken und Abrechnung.Unsere Buchung war ihm unbekannt, andere Buchungen lagen jedoch vor. Nach Vorlage unserer Buchungsunterlagen bekamen wir nach einiger Zeit unser Zimmer. Es war jedoch aus unserer Sicht kein Komfortzimmer und die angegebene Größe stimmte ebenfalls nicht. Anstatt der angegebenen 30 qm waren es höchstens 20 qm. Im Bad hatte nur eine Person Platz, Größe ca. 1,5 qm.

Sauber, günstig gelegen
Das Hotel liegt in optimaler Näher zur Freilichtbühne, die man zu Fuß (Achtung, an der stark befahrenen Straße ohne Fußweg entlang), oder mit dem Bus (Haltestelle direkt vor dem Haus) erreichen kann. Unser Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, es gab auch eine Flasche Wasser, Wasserkocher und Kaffee im Zimmer. Das Bad war in die Jahre gekommen aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach, da hätten wir mehr erwartet.

Great Italian restaurant and hospitality!
The Pension was good, but the best thing was the excellent hospitality of Senora Vicky and her husband and the family that run the Italian restaurant in the Pension hotel. They really showed great Italian hospitality to me and my mother and were very good with all the guests.

A great deal.
This was a cute pension nestled in the hills behind town. It was easy to find and provided ample free parking. It was also close to town allowing for an easy short walk to reach the village center. The staff was friendly and the price was excellent!
