10/10 Exceptional Stay
Wonderful stay! Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. The estate is situated outside of Queenstown proper ~20 mins from the airport, on a hill overlooking the beautiful surrounding Lake Hayes area. They plussed up the experience with an evening cheese board and glass of their house Pinot Rose, just 👌. The property amenities read that there is airport transport which is not accurate, but it is easy to get a rideshare/taxi out to the property. If staying at the estate consider booking a dinner at the near by Amisfield restaurant for a Michelin Star worthy experience.

Unfortunately we didn’t make it to Stoneridge as my husband got Covid on the morning we were due to fly to QT. The response we received regarding our booking was sympathetic but unhelpful as it’s premium accommodation we didn’t get to use. Watch out for cancellation policies as everyone on our trip was very accommodating. We won’t try and rebook another time.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is very friendly and warm. The location affords visitors the opportunity to see lake views and wineries, but still be a short drive from Queenstown.

Amazing location, great views, our private cottage was absolutely beautiful, very private, well set out and tastefully decorated. We took advantage of having a private chef cook for us onsite with a 5 course 'trust the chef' dinner which was amazing.

Incredible customer service in the midst of covid
My husband and I were supposed to stay with Stoneridge for our anniversary bit an impromptu lockdown meant we couldn't travel. Stoneridge were incredibly accomodating refunding our dinner and organising a date transfer for our accomodation. Excellent and respect for customers in uncertain times.

Amazing views and stay. The staffs made it awesome too especially lucas and shruti. The only disappointment was we stayed for 6 nights at the hotel paid quite a lot. Requested for a late check out but was declined.

Special property
My wiife and I stayed here for 3 days on our month-long honeymoon to NZ. It was the highlight of our trip. The setting of the Estate high up on a hill over looking Lake Hayes was simply stunning. The service from both Giselle and Emily was fantastic, personal and attentive. We met the owner, who gave us a lift to collect our rental car. She was so welcoming and offered many suggestions of things to do in the area. We stayed in the Coronet Suite which had a balcony that opened onto the stunning view of Lake Hayes and the surrounding mountains. I would highly recommend this room. The room also had a raised window seat, allowing us the opportunity to sit and take in the beautiful views each day. The estate also provides a pool and outdoor hot tub which was a lovely touch. On our final day we strolled the grounds, the quaint chapel and gardens to the winery, where we enjoyed a beautiful cheeseboard & accompanied wines. I could not recommend this property more highly. It’s located 20 mins outside the thronged streets of Queenstown (which we loved) but a car would be advisable as a result, as a taxi would be upwards of $40 one way.
