The location of the hotel was exceptional, in the heart of Petite France but also peaceful. Our room, in the Pavillon annexe was stunning, spacious and well appointed with triple aspect views over the canals.
Things we loved- the room, the waterside terrace for drinks and breakfast, the views and the location. We had a meal in the restaurant which was memorably delicious.
Things that were more average- let me be clear, there was nothing bad at the hotel. It is very well run and charming. However, breakfast was less good. We arrived at 10am so on the later side, the food was a little cold and congealed, there were no menus and we only found out as we left ( by overhearing a waitress talking to other guests) that we could order specialist items like omelettes. The view from the terrace almost made up for it and we would certainly book to stay again without hesitation.
