This was the most amazing place. The views, the lake, the rooms and especially the staff. We had the most wonderful gentleman checking us in and 2 of the waitstaff went out of their way to help us book train tickets. If we ever return to Switzerland we will be sure too stay here again

Hotel avec un emplacement idéal en toute bordure du lac de Thune. par contre à savoir que peu de places de parking sont disponibles et surtout qu'il n'y a pas de climatisation dans les chambres. on a aussi eu une chambre avec une terrase communicante avec les chambres d'à coté.

This was a lovely short stay on Lake Thun. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was excellent, and it was nice to have a hot breakfast included in the stay. Easily accessible by the 21 bus from Thun station or either of the Interlaken stations (free bus pass with stay). Lots to do along that bus line and wonderful walks from the hotel itself.

Leider konnten wir mit unserem Aufenthalt nicht zufrieden sein. Im Badezimmer waren deutliche Spuren von Schimmel vorhanden, was für uns bei einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse nicht akzeptabel ist. Besonders enttäuschend war zudem, dass unsere Reklamationen nicht ernst genommen wurden und wir uns mit unseren Anliegen nicht wirklich wahrgenommen fühlten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus unserer Sicht überhaupt nicht. Die Aussicht auf den See ist zwar wirklich genial und ohne Zweifel ein Highlight – leider ist das auch das Einzige, was uns von diesem Aufenthalt positiv in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Für den Preis hätten wir deutlich mehr erwartet, insbesondere in Bezug auf Sauberkeit, Service und den Umgang mit Gästen.

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel mit Sonnenterrasse am See. Leider nicht sehr gepflegt und unterhalten. Empfang freundlich. Zimmer nicht klimatisiert. Sauberkeit ok. Frühstück auf der Sonnenterrasse wäre bei schönem Wetter an und für sich sehr schön. Die Terrasse macht aber einen sehr ungepflegten Eindruck. Tische waren nicht gedeckt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht sehr ansprechend. Das Besteck mussten wir suchen. Der Badesteg ist zwar vorhanden aber für den Einstieg ins Wasser nicht einladend.

Panoramic view of the lake from room 204 though the room layout was a bit awkward. No bedside table on one side of the bed. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the recent heatwave but supplied with a large fan. Note that the hotel is alcohol free so no sitting on the terrace with a cool beer in the evening.
