Lack of Flexibility Cost Them a Positive Review
I had an unfortunate experience with my reservation at Amon Hotel. Due to a mistake on my part, I accidentally booked my stay for a day earlier than intended. As soon as I realized this, I reported the issue to Hotels.com, and they made multiple attempts to contact the hotel administration to request a refund.
Despite their efforts, the hotel refused to process my refund, even though there were very few guests during my actual stay. Hotels.com genuinely tried to assist me, but unfortunately, the hotel was unwilling to accommodate my request.
I believe a more customer-friendly approach could have made a difference, especially given the low occupancy. Unfortunately, due to their lack of flexibility and understanding, I cannot leave a positive review. I hope the hotel reconsiders its policies in the future to provide better service to its guests.
