A stunning triumph of a hotel!
Hammamhane is one of those very rare gems that just gets *everything* right. From a friendly check-in to a superbly appointed apartment room, the experience was wonderful from start to finish. And, oh, the breakfast! We live in Türkiye, and so we have developed very high expectations for this most quintessential of Turkish eating experiences - and Hammamhane's quality and unique selection of delicious dishes (even including gluten-free cake!) was outstanding. A full and well-deserved five stars all round.

너무 편하고 예뻤던 호텔이에요. 세탁기,인덕션 등 없는게 없었고 위치도 정말 좋았어요. 갈라타 탁심광장 주변이 다 예쁜 상점 커피숍으로 가득 찼던 곳이였습니다. 조식도 너무 맛있었고 직원분들 다 친절하세요. 다시 꼭 가고 싶네요.

The area Hammamhane is located in a very nice area of Beyoglu, and is located close to vintage shops, potters, art galleries and eateries. Very nice area if you’re not just looking for the historical Istanbul. Places like the Galata tower are within walking distance, and a tram station is also within walking distance. The area has a lot of foot traffic and it is quite lively even at night, but people are not loud enough for it to be a problem when you’re trying to sleep. The stay We were greeted very warmly by the staff at Hammamhane. They gave us a good orientation of the area, and offered more information if we needed it. They were also able to give us recommendations of where to go to do some of our souvenir shopping. The rooms were stylishly decorated, well equipped and well-maintained. The booking came with breakfast, which was standard but minimal Turkish fare. Breakfast also starts fairly early, which was a plus for us when we had to leave early for a tour. The Hammam Hammamhane is also unique in that it comes equipped with its own unisex Hammam (turkish bath). The Hammam is right next to the hotel and being a guest at the hotel entitles you to a discount for entrance. The experience was soothing, pleasant and pampered us after the tiring activities we had on our trip. Definitely a uniquely Turkish experience to have!

We stayed at one of the lofts and I loved how spacious and quiet it was. It felt like home away from home. The living space is on the second floor and the sleeping space is on the third floor and only accessible by stairs so something to keep in mind if you have accessibility concerns. They provide unlimited bottles of drinking water and Turkish tea so it was nice not having to worry about buying water. The place is quite hilly and is a few blocks away from the metro but the walk is really worth it for the quiet. It’s near everything but tucked on a street away from the crowds. The breakfast spread was impressive and you can even request eggs to be cooked if you want something different from what is served at the buffet. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

The best hotel for a perfect Istanbul experience
Staying at Hotel Hammamhane was the best choice my family made for our Istanbul trip. If we ever get so lucky as to visit the city again in the future, we won't even think twice about booking this hotel. Hammamhane is not your average factory-made hotel. The structure of the buildings is interesting and playful, the rooms spacious and clean, the friendly staff will always be there to make your day better. (Special shoutout to Deniz who greeted us on our first night and shared his knowledge about Istanbul with us!) The location is also a huge plus since so many sights are within walking distance (Galata tower, Taksim square to name a few), but at the same time the neighborhood provides a cozy atmosphere with many antique stores and art shops. The highlight for us has got to be the breakfast though. Everything tasted so fresh and I would have asked for the recipes for all the sallads if I could! 5/5 stars in every aspect. I genuinely hope to come back to this place one day.
