Great pub, terrible carpark!
The accommodation, the breakfast and the pub itself were all excellent. BUT, sadly my car was damaged whilst parked in their carpark overnight. It's a small, unmarked and uneven cobbled space with barely enough room to manoeuvre any vehicle. So, I wasn't actually surprised when I noticed my damaged vehicle. I imagine it's an all to frequent occurrence here. There are no cameras overlooking the carpark and the response that I got from the pub was lack lustre to say the least. The message of my review is yes stay at the pub, but park elsewhere or it could turn out to be a more costly stay than anticipated.

Charming old pub
Absolutely charming historic pub/ hotel. Striking features recalling it's origin. Delicious food well presented and the tops breakfast! Wonderful helpful and warm staff. Thanks again we'll definitely be back!

Cosy retreat in the heart of Hebden
Lovely en-suite room overlooking the river. Comfortable bed and well-stocked with refreshments and toiletries. Pub food was really good, breakfast also good and staff attentive. Hebden shopping and walks right on the doorstep.

White Lion Hebden Bridge
Thoroughly enjoyable relaxing stay at The White Lion. We stayed in room number 1. Nice spacious room, the room and the excellent bathroom were both spotlessly clean. The bed was a little too firm for my liking. Ate at the hotel one night and the food was good, bar was busy and had a good choice of drinks.

We Just needed a bed after a gig. Felt the room was very overpriced for what we got. Courtyard view was actually the car park. A chair doing nothing in the little hall right inside the room door that will never be sat on. Had to drag the bed from the wall to get to PowerPoint to charge phone. Breakfast over cooked and average was a disappointment. Staff greeting us were as we’d expect when we arrived after a tiring journey

Autumn Break
Lovely stay at the White Lion Hotel. We stayed in room 9. Did say river view but wasn't visible from the room but was from outside. Could hear the water though which was lovely. The room was very big and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good. There wasn't any continental though. Would recommend.

A very nice room, but it should be for the price. Car park far too small, I had to park on the main road which is poor when paying to price. The bed wasn’t made correctly, when we pulled back the duvet the bottom sheet didn’t fit the huge mattress. The sachets of complementary drinks only had 2 sachets of coffee!, Not very good for coffee drinkers.

Lovely new rooms.
