This area has a lot motel and it was recommended by the gas station when I filled up my car. It turned out great, very well kept motel and very clean. Let me rest well after a long drive.

A Night to Remember
We are totally sleep deprived due to extreme noise coming from the room adjoining ours which appeared to be part of the managers residence. This continued for most of the night. There was general household banging and clattering, much door knocking followed by loud talk, (most of it colourful) and interspersed with raucous laughter. On the plus side the road traffic was quiet and the room clean. If not for that we would have given a big fat zero all round.

Very noisy long term residents of motel. Yelling and banging on doors at 2am. Cars coming and going slamming doors. Room was fairly clean however beer bottles and rubbish were still under bed from previous occupants. Sign on door says to “Use security chain on door” however change was broken presumably from the last time someone kicked the door in. Manager was friendly. Towels were nice but apart from that was a horrible experience with very little sleep over the entire stay. Steer clear

Don’t stay here! My best advice is “Give The Winchester a wide berth”! There appears to be long term residents here that are up at all hours making noise ,yelling ,swearing at each other and arguing all the time. Cars coming and going, car doors slamming all night and generally no consideration for other short stay residents! The reception lady was pleasant enough but the management appear to turn a blind eye to the poor behaviour of some residents here!

Decent sized room. Nice towels. Happy it had crockery and cutlery for use with the microwave. Near several restaurants. Liked that the gate locked at night However there was no blanket on the bed and the doona in the cupboard was very thin… even with the aircon on heat I was cold at night. Exhaust fans in toilet and shower were dirty Needed a chain on the door for added security

Firstly the staff was rude. Although payment was made through wotif, she charged me again. (Wotif refunded the payment) Secondly, there was dog hair everywhere. On the bed , lounge and furniture. Never staying in this motel.

Good value
A one night stop over on our way to Qld. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious with plenty of space on the vanity. The shower was excellent. The locked gates at night for security is an extra bonus. The Motel is walking distance to the two main fast food outlets. We have stayed several times at this Motel. The rooms are ageing , but still well presented.

Glad I was only sleeping here. Floor was stained, door looked broken and while the linen was clean I didn’t trust the quilt. Aircon was noisy. Service was pleasant enough staying open for an extra 10 mins as I was running late. Won’t stay here again.
