The property has lots of “western charm”, and it is certainly convenient, being very close to Yellowstone NP’s east entrance. The room was small but very clean. A bit overpriced for a small room with no a/c, Internet or TV, however. Staff was very nice, and the restaurant is excellent.

Rustic

Rustic cabins, no AC, but not a problem since outside temps are low. However, internet connection is sporadic if any.

Fun place to stay

Saw two bears crossing the street as soon as I checked in here. Stayed in the smallest room, but I was there to be outdoors and not stuck in the room so it was fine. It was a quick three min drive to the east entrance of Yellowstone which was amazing! People complain about the lack of internet service, but again I was there to enjoy the outdoors so it didn’t bother me. I would stay here again.

Lovely spot for watching Buffalo & Bears. The buffalo bill museum was really good. The food in the restaurant was tasty. The negative was no internet other than in the restaurant and no TV in the room.

CLOSEST property to Yellowstone, great history

The closest property I could find to the entrance of Yellowstone, this has the added benefit of historic significance--built on the property around Buffalo Bill Cody's hunting lodge. They warned us to watch carefully for large wildlife as we exit the cabin in the morning and we did have a bison grazing not far from the front door on our second morning. The only drawback I noticed was a lack of A/C so nights were warm and stuffy as we didn't want to open windows and potentially invite any bears in.

The location is perfect only 5 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. The place doesn’t have internet in the rooms and no hair-dryer. It’s clean and nice experience.

Close to East Entrance

This teepee resort is made up of log cabins and a short 30 min drive from the Yellowstone East Entrance. They have an excellent restaurant and gift shop on site. They do offer wifi at the main building only but it is understandably very weak. Please note the area around the resort is still wild and we saw a couple bears on the side of the road to the resort!

Charming, but uncomfortable.

The property is very near the east entrance to Yellowstone, which is a positive. The lack of WiFi could be considered charming, but I wish it was more clear that you aren't likely to get either cell service or wifi. The room was too hot to sleep in. I can see not having AC in this area, but a simple box fan would have made a world of difference. Beds and pillows were substandard.

Right outside Yellowstone Park, reasonable rate and dining facilities were good.

I enjoyed talking with both guests and locals while we were there. Very fun stay.

The resort was pretty comfortable to stay in, the historical aspect to it was particularly interesting. Only two things to improve- one is that there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The other was that the restaurant closed to the guests on Saturday night with no warning. It was apparently for a Lions' club dinner. This would normally not be a problem, but there was nowhere else to get dinner there. I would also like to say that the staff were very nice.

Nice cabin, a bit rustic but great place to stay convenient to Yellowstone!

6/10 Good

I loved the staff and food at the restaurant. Check in lady also wonderful. Rented a one room cabin with queen bed and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and cabin was spotless. We stayed one night the 3rd week In May. They had a snow the week before. There wasn’t a working air conditioner and the cabin was small and air stagnant and warm. The windows didn’t come up so there was no way to get fresh air. Had to open and close door couple times at night to bring in cool air.
