Winter stay
Our stay was wonderful when they knew we had 2 children 1 & 2 they found us a first floor room. The only complaint I have is all the ice in parking lot. Very hard to make it to the sidewalk without falling. Rooms were clean very comfortable very friendly employees. Although I felt like we were being watched during breakfast. There wasn’t much for breakfast room employee to do. So not her fault. Overall great stay

Clean, comfortable, accomodating. Friendly staff. Thoughtfully set up. Pristine breakfast bar w great selection, comfortable bedding, great coffee available 24/7, lovely body wash, shampoo/conditoner, handwash, and lotion in large stationary containers. Amesome pool and hot tub. Sauna. Nice tv and good entertainment selection; easy to navigate. Great visit. Will stay again!

Don’t waste your money
Room was cold when I arrived . They should have had the heat in since I arrived during a snow storm . Requested 1 Queen size bed on the first floor and was given 2 Queen beds on the 2nd floor . During my stay I could not get my room to warm up . The hotel was not even 10% filled so my request should of been filled

Loved😍 AAA+ with generously priced 😻
We were travelling from NYC to UVA, needed retreat after visiting at the chapel of UVA.😭 This hotel is one of the best among other Best Western Hotels in the East coast of the U.S. 😊 Spa, very nice pool, sauna, excellent hot breakfast, excellent front staffs and a maintenance technician made us very happy and unforgettable new year. They put us to the very nice room with the fantastic water front view, the sun rise and the sunset on the top floor. Super nice. 😍Room was perfect: clean, eco-friendly system, nice shower and spacious room. Very satisfied. We will be back. A HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎊🌅🎍🎉

Decent
it was clean but the main issue the room i was giving was facing a major highway and basically all night long heard the traffic. I believe all rooms were all outdoors (entrance and exits of the rooms) in the summer I'm certain it would be ok but in the cold winter months its not great especially in the rain. For example it a 4 story hotel so you had to enter the elevator outside as well as entering the breakfast area and fitness center.

Highly recommend!
Very nice front desk employees! Excellent service when our tv didn’t work. Fixed in 5 min! Very clean! Lots of towels and nice toiletries. Comfortable mattress and pillows! Heat worked nicely! Very cozy feel! Indoor was extremely clean and warm! The hotel played Christmas music in the pool area, very nice! No issues at all! Wonderful!!!

What a terrible black Friday
My wife and I thought it would be nice to get out of town, and do a hotel and diner somewhere. Kent Island is close and the Motel said they had working pool and hot tub, and were not crowded. Great! We called the day of our reservation and were told it was an extra $25 to check in before 3pm, Great off we go with our dog. A half hour later we get to the motel and our first told they were FULL last night and rooms were not ready. A) this was not true, we were told later they were not full and we could see many empty, clean rooms, B) if we could not get in why did they tell us come on over it is $25 extra. This really put our nice day out in a funk. And it just got worse. Hot tub half worked, "sauna" would not heat up, ice machine did not work. Next morning front desk told me there were no more pool towels, blamed house keeping, which after the front desk ACTAULLY call house keeping they brought right away. The poor house keeping folks were not the problem. The liars at the front desk and their crappy attitude were / are the problem! I hope I never even stop on KI again. Keep going there is much better stuff in OC or Annapolis.
