I stay here every time I go to Depoe bay. It has a bar with bar food. Usually they have breakfast but they didn't have it today..My floors were dirty with dirt along the baseboards.

They put a family with young kids above us. The foot stomping and furniture dragging never stopped until well after 10pm and started again at 6am. I have no idea why you would put a family with kids above an older couple. Staff members were super unfriendly with a touch of grumpiness. The view of the ocean was fantastic

I had to wipe everything down when we got there. The walls were disgusting and the floor boards had a thick layer of dust/dirt. I had to go to the store to buy windex because the window for the view of the ocean was so dirty. The location and view is amazing!

OK, cute room facing ocean with lil patio to sit outside. Cell phone reception poor, couldnt get wifi service to link to my phone. TV in room I could only get one channel. It did have beach access, lotsa stairs. Oh and no heat source in room. It had a electric fireplace with a sign on it saying its out of order and not available to single queen hotel room. Zoom in on pic behind my dog for note on fireplace/heater.

No help zero staff tried to go to the front desk multiple times no one there no house keeping can't get towels also they are demolishing/closing next week out of business..none of these things were told to us by hotels.com we had no idea

The staff was terrible and being handicapped I requested a grouund gloor room and she said we would have stairs and there was nothing she could do about it. There was a closed. Restaurant and lounge, only a bed and microwave stand in the toom with an electric fireplace that was partially covering a real fireplace. Very tacky property.

Great location in an aging motel
The Surfrider is my go-to for beach overnighters. The location is great, with a direct trail down to Fogarty Creek beach, a lovely and dog-friendly cove. Almost every room has an ocean front view and a balcony or patio, and comes equipped with the typical coffee service, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a restaurant and bar on-site, serving the basics at prices you expect on the coast :) It was closed for remodeling on this visit, which was a bummer but I just drove into Depoe Bay for dinner so no biggie (try Tidal Raves if you do the same). I appreciate the large pet relief areas with lots of grass & so does my dog :) There’s a detached pool area but I’ve never used it so can’t comment. The hotel is aging with very little real updating but it’s usually clean and everything works. Service here is sometimes really good and sometimes just not but I don’t interact with staff much so it doesn’t bother me, I just notice it. I come for the relatively inexpensive pet-friendly rooms in a fantastic beach front location & in that, I’m never disappointed. I’ll be back I’m sure in a few months!

Great stay as always, they are doing beautiful upgrades and the restaurant/Bar is comfortable and friendly- we always forget until we get there how bad the beds are however because we love everything else about it- we were hoping with the new updates that beds had been included, but sadly still so bad I could barely move in the morning

Found Drugs under the Mattress in our room…Filthy as well…Phone was not working for several weeks and they are tearing the entire Property down first week in November…We were booked for 2 nights and cancelled our 2nd night and found other accommodations in Lincoln City…
