We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Surf Inn & Suites. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is very clean, especially for a small property so close to the beach. While there was a bit of sandiness here and there, it’s totally expected for a beachside location and didn’t take away from the overall cleanliness and comfort. The standout feature is definitely the location — just steps from the beach and within easy driving distance to town. Whether you're looking to spend the day in the sand or head into town for a bite or some shopping, this hotel offers unbeatable access to both.

Leslie greeted us and we got to check in early since our room was ready by 12. We enjoyed our room and was comfortable!! Bathroom just a little small and for the size of the sink. Very dangerous. Granddaughter hit her head twice. The shower downstairs for after the beach didn’t work very well. Besides that we loved the place and the rooftop sundeck was awesome!! And the breakfast was good and Leslie was amazing!!!! We would definitely come back!!

Yes! Stay here and have fun

This place was amazing! Homemade pancakes! Clean! Friendly staff! Roof top seating! They had free boogie boards, chairs, books, sand toys, towels for beach use. Beach is 2 minute walk

Was a really cute and cozy hotel. The gentleman at the desk was nice and friendly. Smelled wonderful and clean. The roof top area was fun and nice to sit out in the sun and hang out. Definitely get the ocean view room.Waking up to the sound of the waves and such a beautiful view is so worth it.

Really basic hotel but if you get a balcony it's a view of the water and the beach, very comfortable bed. Sunset Beach is home to some fun restaurants we had a blast at Taco Surf and really good food. The hotel manager is a very nice guy, it's a neat little place right on PCH so make sure you request a balcony away from the highway.

Ehh

Room 208’s restroom smelled of dirty water/ mold and the ventilation wasn’t working in there. Only 1/3 of the lights worked and signs of rust was apparent on the shower parts. A lot of traffic such as people and utilities like water from showers and toilets was really loud at times. The pictures provided for the room was misleading as it gave the impression that the location was DIRECTLY on the beach, and not a minutes walk. Granted it was still close, but I chose this place BECAUSE of the images. The room seemed okay, but the pictures regarding the room appeared either altered or from a past couple of years. Other than that, the stay was okay, a place to get away and relax. While not absolutely terrible, we will both look for alternative options for the future in this area.

They lost my reservation even tho i book through hotels 3 month before even tho i had all my paper work from hotels.com still did nothing ive stayd here at least 3 time before worst experience

We'll Be Back

We have stayed here many times without leaving a review and I don't like leaving a negative review unless I'm sure I'm never returning, but we kept giving it another chance because of the location and access to the beach. This time was noticeably different. We stayed in a different oceanview room which was beautiful. Service was great. I didn't have to request housekeeping - a plus. We'll be back.

Our stay

Wish the water was hotter for my shower. The shower faucet was on wrong. The hottest water was as soon as you turned it on. Bed was very comfortable, room very clean, and staff very friendly. The beach was close. If I return I would stay here again.
