Lovely hotel, went there for Valentine’s day with my girlfriend.
Lovely room, great bar staff.
However, had a valentine’s meal in the restaurant, which was extremely poor service.
Waited an hour and forty minutes for a meal
The restaurant manager made no apology for the shocking service and the head waiter didn’t have a clue what she was doing or serving.
Was served sparkling wine warm.
Then given an ice bucket 10 minutes later.
Not once did the waiter come over and ask if we wanted another drink.
The restaurant manager spent more time tucking in his shirt into his trousers because he didn’t wear a belt.
Not once did any of the waiters or restaurant manager go to certain parts or the restaurant to ask customers if they had a nice meal or wanted another drink.
Really poor service.
Will not be coming back to that restaurant ever again.
Completely ruined the whole day.

Lovely room
Lovely room in a good location, welcoming staff and overall very comfortable. Only negative was it was a little lacking in the tea, coffee and milk, not enough milk for two people to have a beverage with milk.

Sjarmerende første inntrykk, men skuffende….
Kom til et sjarmerende eldre hotell, fint superior rom, men dessverre var det full av Møll… det var ikke like sjarmerende. Fikk endret rom til et uten synlige insekter. Så fram til en velsmakende frokost, men ble skuffet. Overfyll frokostsal, ble plassert i et kaldt utrivelige møterom… Det var lite utvalg i buffet og da vi fikk servert kaffe i kanne ved bordet var den kald! Dette skjedde to ganger! De hadde gluten frie alternativer da vi bestilte egg benedict. Pluss for at det var hundevennlig.

Lovely stay and amazing staff
One of the best hotels for customer experience I've been to: the staff were helpful, polite and always greeted you with a smile. I had contacted them on booking and said it was a special occasion, and when we arrived there was a lovely card and treat waiting for us as a surprise, such a lovely touch.
The reception staff were also fantastic at catching my random emails asking for little things to ensure a special surprise for my partner wasn't spoiled; they played along and it went off without a hitch.
The Bentley experience was lovely.
Only minor complaints were the room smelt a bit musty, but I think the ventilation for the bathroom wasn't as strong as it needs to be. And there was a lot of noise from the room above when they had a shower at 6am on a Sunday - it sounded like water trickling into our room.
But if I'm visiting again will definitely stay again. Highly recommended
