Stony Creek Lodge is in a favorable location on the edge of Sequoia National Park. The location saves significant driving time leaving the park to find better lodging. Otherwise, it is an old, rustic property with paper thin walls and limited food offerings of poor quality.

Great Place

Decided last minute to stay here and was very pleased with this lodge. Nothing fancy, great location, good staff and right in the middle of the park.

Kings Sequoia National Park

We were in a National park ,very remote! Stoney Creek lodge was very welcoming. The lodge food and people were fantastic !

10/10 Exceptional

Staying within the park was a blessing. The morning breakfast buffet was very nice, while the sister restaurants were exceptional-the trout meal was a treat.

Fantastic location but showing its age

Comfortable stay at the park

Nice stay in the park. One drawback is you have to drive elsewhere for dinner on some nights and the roads are along the mountain. When we stayed, the restaurant was closed Wednesdays and Tuesdays. Breakfast was hot and tasty and available every day.
Adam, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

It is very expensive, any service there, it is complete far of anything. There is no one after 8pm. Ulgly and EXPENSIVE
Alejandro, 1-night trip

Scott, 1-night trip

Todd at Lodge was great and very helpful. Breakfast and Dinner were great. Especially for a park. Todd was very helpful and had many roles. Very friendly, he was the cook and did a great job on the meals.
monty, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Stay would have been great if we were told the hours of the breakfast and shop opening. Everything else was very straightforward
Kathryn, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The room smelt heavily of cleaner fluids, even while leaving all the windows open. Other than that, we loved the convenience of the location in Sequoia National Forest in between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

Staff very helpful. Opened a stuck window. NO problem with getting ice, and more drinking water.
Andrew, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We enjoyed staying “in” the park. The lodge was quiet at night. We could see so many stars! No AC, but ceiling fan and a fan were provided. The room was clean, but there was a strong, unpleasant odor from the cleaning solutions I guess? If you stay in a National Park, this was just right.
Eileen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They tried very hard to accommodate us. Was difficult due to the fire from the prior year. However, I would return based upon the service and friendliness of the staff.
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Employees that live out back had very loud company till midnight even though quiet hours are posted 9pm-8am Limited food but pizza was good! Breakfast did not start till 8am and we did not wait.

The fireplace was a construction zone, heater didn't work, and no TV. Plus cold breakfast, no decaf.
Mark, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room smelled it was tiny stuffy and it was terribly outdated. The bed was uncomfortable the showers barely worked in the floor was flat out disgusting.
John, 1-night trip

The property had no air-conditioning; the internet was not working for part of the stay; the property was not well maintained
