Fantastic villa in the middle of nature

I strongly recommend this place to people who love nature and need peaceful vacations. The hotel is located in a little village on top of Ubud (ca 10-15 min by car). It is a beautiful place to observe animals (monkeys, fireflies, lots of birds, squires etc.). The villa has a private swimming pool. Employees are the sweetest people and very service minded! Food is delicious.

This property is nestled away 10 minutes from central Ubud. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and the staff is excellent. I reserved a two bedroom villa with a private pool and the villa was so much better in person than in pics. The staff came every morning to bring breakfast to our private terrace.

Like heaven

It was perfect . Hotel like heaven. We stayed at villa luwig. It was for 2 person. There is one problem its about bed its unconfortable it must be 2xxx change. Its very natural . If you are affraid of stay in jungle you cant stay there ( I mean for villa luwing I dont know the others)

Amazing 3D2N in a jungle villa :)

We had a wonderful time in villa luwih. The pool facing the greenery was a refreshing feel and the privacy was on point ! Though there are some cute monkeys lurking around, they did not bother us. They were happily swinging away from tree to tree and eating some fruit. The bed was comfy, breakfast was simple and good! The shuttle service however need to be improved on. We waited for 30 minutes and no shuttle came. In the end the staff had to call a taxi which was paid for. We would like to commend on Dewi’s lovely service. She had a beautiful smile from the beginning and was very friendly and accommodating to us. I would like to also mention about the 2 security guys who helped us heat up the pizza at 2am just before our mount batur trek. Thank you so much! I will definitely come here again !

Sehr kleine und dunkle Villa Luwih

Villa Luwih war sehr klein und dunkel; Bettwäsche war nicht sauber, auch die allgemeine Sauberkeit könnte besser sein; Pool ist winzig; Shuttle Service unzuverlässig; Frühstück z.T kalt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Amazing Villa with a rustic charm

We had a great time , the villa (Villa Lui) is rustic with a fabulous view. They have an amazing pool, with an infinity view (though the pool size is smaller than what is shown in the picture) . The bathroom is very well designed and has a bath tub with a great view as well. The staff is amazing , and have accommodated all our requests. The villa is not close to the Ubud market (central area)

Einfach wunderschön (Villa Luwih)

Verbrachten zwei herrliche Tage in der Villa Luwih. Es handelt sich nicht um eine übliche Hotelanlage, sondern um fünf eigenständige unterschiedliche Häuser. Das macht es auch so besonders. Wir hatten unseren eigenen Bereich mit privatem Minipool und Terrasse umgeben von wunderschöner Natur, ohne Einblick von anderen Häusern. Ruhe. Nur Geräusche aus der Natur. Frühstück wird in der Villa serviert. Abendessen kann bestellt werden. Die Villa war wunderschön ästhetisch eingerichtet, sehr sauber, tolles Bett, kaum Moskitos. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttle dreimal am Tag nach Ubud (ca. 10-15 Minuten).

Traditional javanese villa overlooking the jungle

A beautiful villa overlooking the jungle with a private pool close to Ubud. The experience in general was inconsistent, some very high points for example with one of the excurisons which was organised by the reception staff, the delicious bath amenities or the masage on the terrace, while some other lows like not having pool towels available or an unreliable shuttle service from town.

Private villa in the middle of the jungle

Excellent stay at Awanh Awang. If you want privacy and to be surrounded by nature, this is the spot. Staff is incredibly respectful and a joy to meet. Wish I could spend a month here.

Traditional Villa set in Luscious Jungle

We stayed in Villa Luwih at Awang Awang. We woke up to a beautiful jungle, very private and peaceful. The room is very ornate with traditional Balinese artefacts which makes it charming. Being able to swim in the private plunge pool and then open the bathroom doors to shower with a view of the jungle is a special treat. We had a couple of froggy and gecko visitors during our stay but found they only added to the experience. It was lovely to have the air conditioning to make sleeping more comfortable. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Villa Awang Awang. They are so willing to help with any enquiry you have and have such a polite manner, they made our stay an absolute joy.

Just WOW

Very lovely place for a romantic getaway. It's far from the main Ubud area; the hotel provides shuttles there and back. If you have the money, then staying here would be very memorable.

Truly a Blessing to Stay-Treasures of Memories.

Villa Awang Awanga was gorgeous. Staff work very hard to make sure your stay is comfortable and inviting. Flower greetings on front porch with tea and coffee condiments made available for your convenience. Breakfast was excellent at no additional charge. Dinner delivery was prompt and delicious. I read the negative review of this hotel by one individual on Hotels.com. I can't imagine why. This place is extraordinary and well worth the money; it's the jungle open concept living folks. If one does not appreciate nature in a pure unadulterated form, try one of the many crowded standardized resorts.

Pure luxury, relaxation heaven

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of our villa. The views over the valley are breathtaking, the ceiling to floor Windows from the bedrooms mean waking up to these views is stunning. The villa was massive, larger than the photos give justice to, and the infinity pool was just perfect to cool down in with of course brilliant photo opportunities with the rainforest behind. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, would of loved more. This place is great to chill out in, the town is pretty small and Ubud a 20min drive to so we just stayed in the villa and moved to central Ubud to do the sightseeing.

静かな時間が過ごせる快適空間

ビラは個々が離れており、とても静かです。早朝にプールに入ろうとした私たちの為に私たちの姿を見ただけで、コーヒーも準備してくれ、プールの清掃も丁寧にやってくださいました。ですので、ホテルの従業員の方の対応は満点です。ただ、ホテルの場所がかなり分かりづらく、迷いました。昼ならまだしも夜だとまったくわかりません。また、ビラによっては階段が多いところがあり、荷物を持ってあがるのはキツイです。でも、従業員の方が快く持ってくれるので、大丈夫かと思いますが。。。また、下の方のビラではwifiがつながりにくい事があります。

Well It truly was a different experience. The location of the hotel was really far from the city center. They do a shuttle but if you miss it ..... good luck getting a taxi. At night is another world...bats, wird noises,etc.. I must say the facility is beautiful and my server or staff assign to me was very accommodated. The hotel is rated a 4 or 5 star..... I do not thing so. WIFI very weak and cable or TV sucks....sorry to be so honest. By the way, I paid $600.00 US dollars for 3 days and I left on my 2nd day to another hotel.
