我入住的那天下着雨，又大霧，加上我開車回去時已經是晚上，路上沒路燈。雖然有GPS帶路，但也找不到入口處，要打電話麻煩工作人員出門口接我，這值得一讚。希望增加一些有燈的路牌，那就容易找到了。

Stayed in family budget to sleep up to 14 people. Had a huge water leak in the room with moist carpet which made the room smell unpleasant. Old and run down. In desperate need of a facelift. Continental breakfast poor very limited options.

The best experience!
This is an amazing place! The rooms are even like a castle. Our teenage boys loved it. Lots to do and discover and learn. Included breakfast which was great. Staying in the castle made us feel like we were living in the age. Music playing and gifts shops of the era plus the josting and sword fighting was wonderful. If you go to Melbourne make sure to take the quick trip to Leigh creek to go to Kryal Castle and better still stay the night in the castle.

Kryal Castle was an excellent place to take the grandchildren. The room we were allocated though was not suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. There was no table or chairs within the room which didn't allow for us to sit around in the room when required, even to eat at night. Providing a complimentary Continental breakfast was an added bonus as it was not advised when booking.

Loved the program with gem packed activities in the castle. The stay was unique and dream like to be in a castle and we all loved it. Check-in wasn’t the best as the room was not ready at 2pm and I had to run up and down to the receptionist twice to get the key only after 2:30pm. The room can be better with some maintenance with the ceiling above shower peeling off and coffee mugs with stains. It’s very windy at night which makes a loud noise from the window that keeps me up almost the whole night. Otherwise it’s been a great experience.

We recently stayed at Kryal Castle, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! Staying inside the castle was so much fun, and the accommodation was cute, cozy, and beautifully presented. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were truly wonderful—warm, friendly, and always ready to help.Exploring the castle grounds and immersing ourselves in the medieval world was even more entertaining than we expected. The shows were interactive and engaging, and the performances were top-notch. The gardens provided a peaceful retreat, and the animals were a pleasant addition to the overall experience.We highly recommend a weekend stay at Kryal Castle for anyone looking for a unique and entertaining getaway. Thanks for having us—we’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here two nights, mid week, which means the shops, eatery and basically all activities are closed. The upside to that is that you get the grounds to yourself, there's still LOADS to do for adults and kids. My two teens were out there for hours exploring and playing in the grounds. The room (commanders quarters) was small as expected, but roomy enough for a family of 5 to stay comfortably. The only downfall was the lack of kitchen space and cooking amenities. We had to use a cup to fill the kettle, and dishes had to be washed in the sink in basin. Not a huge issue, honestly, a minor inconvenience at most, but when someone is in shower and you want a coffee.. that can be a bit annoying. Other than that, the fact there was nowhere available to cook hot food other than a microwave was also midlt annoying. We had planned to order food to be delivered upon our arrival but thought we'd wait to make sure there was a stove or BBQs, thankfully we didn't. We did however spend 30 mins in front of a microwave heating up 5 frozen meals for tea lol Overall we loved our stay, the staff were more than helpful, we had loads of space to ourselves during the week, we were not at all bored during our time there. we are already planning to come back during the busy season, to see what the other side of Kryal is all about. We will be prepared next time!

DO NOT STAY
DO NOT STAY HERE! got given a foam mattress on floor with a sheet that had holes in it. The mattress was on floor under window that wouldnt close and door with huge draft. EVERY piece of furniture was broken and filthy. The shower door didnt close and the window literally falling apart. Toenail clippings and dirt on floor. Pillows non existent wafers and king bed (two single mattresses) had broken springs. After hours number was never answered. Only one shampoo and two soaps for 3 people. Not worth $270 pn! Absolutely horrible stay. Was really good until Big4 took over. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY!

I think we came during a quiet time which was ideal for us! No noisy neighbours! The room was imaculate and very cosy!! The heater and all other amenities worked amazing they even had a mini heater in the bathroom which was a first and being winter it was AMAZING! a bit outdated but as a castle i think thats the vibe and we loved it! My 3 year old keeps talking about the castle now 😆 i would recvomend coming during the weekend as thats when everything is open we didnt do our research and just thought it was open daily and stayed during the week but had other stuff planned to do in ballarat anyway but a good heads up if you want the full castle experience during your stay :) plenty of free things that are open 247 and the cool little photo props and castle details are great!
