Unfortunately, our stay was not the worth money we spent on this for just one night (£300+).
- The view from the bedroom window was straight on to a brick way, which made the room feel claustrophobic.
- The bathroom sink was blocked, meaning the water wouldn’t drain away and causing a slight smell in the room.
- The route from reception to our room went through the bar and restaurant, which was not pleasant for us moving with our bags or those who were dining there.
- The breakfast was inadequate with very little selection - no fried eggs, no black pudding, no fried tomatoes, no potato scone - and the items that were offered were poor quality.
- The noise on the street and within the hotel went on throughout the night until 6am, disrupting our sleep.
We will not be back and will not recommend this hotel to others.
