I have been staying at this hotel for the last 7 years and never had a bad thing to say, post covid this seems to be a very different hotel.
I asked for any early checking but did not get a room till 4PM because it seemed everyone had been given late checkout.
My reservation details were wrong which were blamed on hotel.com, yet they were accurate on the confirmation.
The room clearly had not been cleaned
We were 5 people and were given toiletries enough for 2
Team and coffee making facility was there just missing the coffee and team bags
NO HOT WATER
Dinner buffet has dropped in quality completely - food variety very limited, food was cold and in some cases clearly not fresh
After several heated words some of the issues were rectified but still NO HOT WATER apparently there was a problem outside the room which never got fixed. The food remained cold. We got tea bags as an exception - correct as an exception. For a five person room it was not possible to provide more than 2 mugs/cups for tea, instead we were provided with paper cups.
Really disappointing that a hotel could drop in standard so much,
