The key with this hotel is its location: It is a five minute walk from the train station and a ten minute drive from the airport. There are lots of amenities (including restaurants and a shopping mall) within walking distance.
As with other ibis locations, this place is a no frills hotel. They were not generous on things like soap and shampoo, and the room had the tiniest bath towels I have ever seen.
The room itself is European, meaning it is very small and cramped. There is enough space for a suitcase and a personal item.
The refrigerator did not work.
My luggage was delayed coming into Lisbon and the hotel was not able to help me out at all when it came to providing me with essential toiletries. Again, this is a no frills hotel.
The counter service at the front desk is very friendly and professional during the day, but curt and unfriendly in the evening hours.
I left the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door but room service ignored the door tag and entered my room to clean it.
Overall, this was a decent stay. I was able to make it from the airport to the hotel very easily after landing, and made the short talk to the Oriente Station the next day for my train ride out of town.
