We absolutely loved our stay at Junungan! Everyone was so kind and helpful. They reached out to me a few days before we arrived to arrange a pickup from the airport. The breakfast was delicious every morning with quite a few options. The location is a little bit out of the main area which makes it very peaceful. We got a daily shuttle to the downtown area and back, which made it easy to explore. We did a couple of the excursions which were so much fun! They have a pool and a spa on site. The room was beautiful, clean, and just like the photos. The view of the rice terrace from the balcony was amazing. The air conditioning worked well. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My partner and I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the property was beautiful, and the shuttle service to and from the center was very useful! We also took advantage of the massage service which was incredibly relaxing. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here and would love to go back.

Great property. Feels like old school ubud resort!! Loved bug rooms quiet. Balcony over rice fields inexpensive and fabulous in room massages. Lovely breakfast daily and convenient shuttle to town. It’s a ways out from town so not walkable but so quiet and lively. Staff fabulous and so helpful!!

The staff is nothing short of amazing. I extended my stay because it was such a gem. As a female solo traveler, I felt really safe there. The view from the balcony is really nice. I actually liked the fact that it was not directly In crowded Ubud. The shuttle is convenient and there are good simple restaurants around the hôtel within walking distance. Thanks to everybody that made my stay so great and did not hesitate to get out of their way to help me( dropping me off on their motorbike when I was about to walk for a really long time).

A hotel with incredible staff

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, extremely kind and accommodated staff, especially Sri who's the receptionist, what a gem! They help you with everything, if you need a private driver or if you need to book an activity they have your back. Whatever you need, they are always there to assist you, and also happy to do so. Definitely a hotel I'll recommend. The only thing I would wish for is maybe a bit more variation in the food menu and maybe more channels to watch. Those are just little things, my overall experience was 10/10. /Steph

Jujungan was a great place to stay. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We had to miss breakfast due to an early tour and they prepared a small breakfast to take with us at 4am. They also replied quickly to our questions via Expedia message before our stay. Our shower was broken and they fixed it right away. The view in the back was beautiful. The shuttle is only 1 round trip per day so plan around that. Food was good. AC not that strong. Swimming pool is small and looked a bit dirty, we didn't see anyone use it. Lock on doors were different and felt a bit unsafe but there was always someone at the front which was reassuring. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at Junjungan.

Ms. Siwi and Ms. Sri made this a very special stay. They were incredibly helpful in communicating prior to our arrival and they were accommodating and hospital during our short stay. They are the magic that made this a memorable stay. The hotel itself is small with not much social public areas. There is a lovely small pool which surprisingly was cold after the rain - a much welcome surprise given the humidity- very refreshing. The restaurant is a wide open air area below ground level. The chef prepares delicious meals and we particularly enjoyed the tumeric drink. The rooms are amazing. The hotel is basically a small reception area with an easy parking spot for cars to pull into and to pick up from, then a set of rooms on three levels (I think). Our rooms were on the ground with stunning views of the padi fields. The rooms themselves were very spacious. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom - the bathtub is enormous- the water pressure is excellent for showers and hot water is indeed hot. The room os beautifully furnished with dark woods and they provide lovely batik robes and comfy slippers. It was very relaxing. They also provide a free shuttle one a day per room to and from Ubud center. We were there during Christmas and traffic was just horrendous as many domestic tourists came with their cars. So it was quite a slog to get through the town. However, once we were at the hotel, all that disappeared. It was incredibly relaxing.

Vi blev skuffet over poolen og området omkring poolen. Billederne snyder rigtig meget. Poolen er meget lille og vi havde ikke lyst til at gøre brug af den da vi så den, desværre. Flinkt personale der er hjælpsomme. Hotellet har en bus, man kan køre gratis med ned til centrum af Ubud og tilbage igen før kl. 22.
